Finally after 6 months after coming off microgynon (I was on it for 8 years) Ive had a period, I cant help but feel so down as its taken me this long to have a proper bleed, please help me feel better with your stories after having your first AF and falling pregnant, I feel like at the minute it will take me years, me and my oh have even talked about our what if we cant situation (which might seem drastic given the time weve tried) but I feel like it could be a potential given the way we feel.

I was on microgynen on and off for about 15 years. When I first came off a couple of years ago it took me about 4/5 months for periods to become regular again. 3 months later I got pregnant with my DD who is now 15 months. So don't worry, it's a waiting game but things will sort themselves out! Are you using OPK's?
