Anyone in their 2ww and want to symptom spot?

I'm 5dpo and already feel like my period is coming. Lol... weird heaviness in my abdomen. Feel a bit moody. How about you?

So, I did a sainsburys own brand test despite knowing full well how unreliable they are and lo and behold I get what I think is a false positive. I just wanted to see if it actually came up negative. I'm certainly not getting my hopes up. I actually feel quite pissed off with myself tbh.

I'm going to do another FRER tomorrow morning. I've been having awful cramps and I'm miserable as sin which is normal before af. No sign of her yet though...

@Kty09 - I have been TTC for 13 months now and I’ve had one early pregnancy loss in February.

I know, each day of a cycle seems to last forever. You don’t realise how long it is between periods until you start TTC, they always seemed to come around quickly when you weren’t trying!

Hi, complete newbie here so please forgive me- bad at acronyms etc

I came of the pill in November to ttc (no big hurry) and I've not been worrying as I know it can take 3 months to get your cycle back to normal. Still a bit confused with mine which has been 32 days then 42 days recently. This month I tried OPK daily from Day 10 to try and get some insight. While there was a kind of peak looking back it was never what the instructions classed as 'positive' so I stopped testing at Day 35 as it was stressing me out in an important work week.

Now feeling like AF is imminent and thinking I might not bother with OPK next month. I thought it would be reassuring but seem to have missed the peak and might just keeping tracking my cycle and approximating ovulation date and see how it goes....

@StarL2021 - I don’t really think I have any symptoms. When I first started TTC I was obsessed with symptoms and I think I must have imagined them because every month i was convinced I was pregnant and I never was 😂 Now I’m the opposite and I never feel I have symptoms so I guess that’s a good thing as I never get my hopes up too much.

How about you?

@JuneySunshine if I could give anyone advice (who is earlier on in their TTC journey than me) I’d say don’t bother tracking ovulation. Just try and have sex every other day or every two days once one period is over and before another period starts.

Tracking ovulation and becoming obsessed with it and stressed by it just exacerbated lots of issues in the TTC process for me.

Especially if you are quite currently relaxed about it too, and you aren’t in a rush.

This confirms what I'm thinking.
For logistical reasons dtd sometimes isn't possible anyway so think we should just do as and when and see for now. As others have said hard to stay relaxed about it in a way but I'll try and probably will feel more normal soon.

I definitely think it takes time for birth control to get out of your body and get back into normality - I stopped in jan and think I’ve only just had my first ‘normal cycle’ I did track ovulation & this month seems has seemed accurate where as the others haven’t. I won’t be doing it anymore as my other half works away and if I got a peak (like I did in feb and march) when he is away it just made me a bit annoyed so I’d rather be blissfully unaware lol x

@JuneySunshine welcome. Birth control can mess up your first few cycles. What ovulation tests are you using?

@TTC94 I have every symptom under the sun but literally BFP everyday. I am only 9dpo but my main ones are no spotting . I usually spot most of the luteal phase. This month I had very sure boobs and I just feel different. Not sure what to think.

It's hard not to track ovulation as you just don't want to miss it. When ttc my 1st. We conceived month 8 the only thing I did different was dtd the day before, day of ovulation and the day after. X

Well, I think I'm out this month for definite. I grabbed a Tesco cheapie on my way to work this morning and it is a bfn. I've also noticed brown tinged cm so my period seems to be just around the corner. The good news is, it would appear my cycle this month is bang on the same as last month so I think finally (hopefully!) they are starting to even out now.

@Gnashaloulou awww that brown CM is so annoying. But yay to the regular cycles.

I think I'm out. 10dpo no sign of period but bfn and I feel like AF is around the corner. I've done well though to get to this stage with no spotting so hoping my cycles are back on track.

Hey ladies!
I am 9dpo today, feeling kind of normal - no AF symptoms which I’m sure I had this time last month and my boobs feel a bit tender like around the sides. I think I am due on around Tuesday-Thurs next week so will do a test around then. 😬

@Kty09 I am 9dpo too and I think I’m due on Tuesday. I don’t usually get AF symptoms this early though so it’s hard to tell for me.

I’ve been quite patient during this tww but now I can’t stop thinking about it!

@TTC94 I have been off work so it has been a bit torturous as I haven’t been as busy as usual 🙈 feel like this month was the first proper month of catching the right times in the FW too 🤞🏼
Really hoping for a BFP!! Are you going to wait to see if AF turns up or test early? x

@Kty09 I will probably wait until my period is due (or try very hard to). As I’ve done the whole wasting money on tests beforehand and it’s an expensive game!

Plus I think we only managed once during my fertile window this month so I’m not super hopeful! But then again, I had many months of 4/5 successful dtd during my fertile window and never fell pregnant, too! So I think it’s just luck!

Evening ladies.

How is everyone? Bit of an update - my spotting yesterday morning amounted to nothing, but tonight I've had very wet cm. No blood in sight though. I've been an emotional wreck all day, and feel like crap tonight. Nauseous and fatigued beyond belief. But a bfn on a frer.

My body is doing my head in!!

I am 11dpo, will test in the next couple of days..no AF symptoms and boobs have progressively got more tender since about 8dpo 🤞🏼 X

I'm out too!! AF arrived with a vengeance this afternoon. I feel so much better though, my mood has lifted so much!! I am actually quite shocked at how anxious I was becoming waiting for af to arrive!!

I’ve had mine too

But I’m very wary after my miscarriage in February. Trying not to worry and trying my best to be positive. But I don’t want to get too excited.

I think my due date will be 28th December (if all goes well).
