Chemical Pregnancy - Bleeding

Hi,

Unfortunately found out two days ago when I was 4 weeks 4 days along (18 dpo) via blood test that I had a chemical pregnancy. For the past two days I've had very very light bleeding and brown in colour - barely requires a panty liner.
Last time I had a chemical pregnancy I had very heavy bleeding and wondering if anyone experienced light bleeding during a chemical pregnancy? Did it lead to heavy bleeding and any positive stories of bfp following this?

TIA!

Hi @Goldshill sorry to hear about your chemical pregnancy. I had a chemical last month at around 5 weeks, I had light bleeding fot 2-3 and as you said i was brown in colour, then I had a day of heavy bleeding which was quite painful then light again for a few days

Hi @Goldshill hope you are doing okay. I just wanted to share with you I had a CP in Jan - it was 2 days before my period was due. Had a day of very light bleeding then it got quite heavy, just felt like a regular AF really but one day it was really quite painful. Lasted the usual time as well. My next period after that didn't come for 6 weeks (usually around 5)

@Goldshill so sorry to hear this! I had cp/EMC which came on last Sunday. (I was 8 days late!) I had pretty heavy bleeding for 3.5days then it was pretty light for another 2.5 days. It was Pretty painful and heavier than normal AF for those 3 days but as it only lasted my usual 6 days I've got a feeling my body it still fairly in sync with its usual cycle. I'm hoping to start trying again straight away rather than wait for af to show again in a few weeks. Do you plan to start trying again straight away too? Hope you're doing okay? I had to call midwife to cancel my appointment in Friday which was really difficult but I feel more positive again now. Xxx

Thanks @Rudyroo sorry to hear you went through this too

@Mrsmujic my bleeding has stopped now so not sure if it'll come on heavy in a few days. Was really devastated the past few days but feeling a lot better today - had to force myself to look forwards and hope for the best for the next cycle. How are you doing? I am so sorry to hear you went through the same - it's just so sad isn't it. Yes I'm going to keep trying straight away - I've read stories on mumsnet about people conceiving straight after a chemical which has given me hope x
