Confused with CB advanced OPK

I’ve have been taken these all week and they say negative and today it still does but the inside test looks like this. Surely this should show as a high fertile day

This has been previous days so it has gotten significantly darker

I've read the lines don't really mean anything and you shouldn't tear them apart but could it be that you started testing too early into your cycle?

I only really noticed because you have to take the refill out every day and possibly I was just going by last months ovulate date

I don't think the lines mean anything on the CB advanced because they measure two different hormones - can't remember where I read this though!

When I was at my peak my lines weren't really that dark so I don't think the lines really matter. Sorry I used these myself I forgot they come out like that and you didn't tear them apart 😅🤦🏽‍♀️

Do you have any other opk to check on? When I used these last month my peak looked like that with the lines. I made sure to DTD that day and day after. (I got bfp too but ended up as cp). Maybe DTD just incase 😁

Feeling a bit lost now, I’m on cycle day 16 and still no positive OPK on CB dig or cheapies. Day 16 is the latest I’ve ever ovulated so losing hope this cycle

@HannahAD last cycle i got my peak on cd21. (I think I had a 36 day cycle that month) so don't lose hope yet. Might just be a longer cycle. Are you checking cm too? X

I have tried to keep an eye out for any but I never really have much at all no matter the time of month unfortunately

I think the lines do mean something, OP the line looks almost as dark as the control but not quite so I think you're almost there! If the lines didn't mean anything then surely they wouldn't get dark/darker than the control line the same as a cheap OPK does. I've used CB and a cheap OPK to compare the lines and they were the same when I got my peak - both a lot darker than the control 🤷🏼‍♀️ so yes go by the reader first, although I'm not sure why it wasn't giving you high before now, but nothing wrong with checking the lines as a secondary type of guide

These tests are not designed to be read by lines.

I’ve stopped looking at the lines inside because today the lines are lighter than previous days anyway and it’s a flashing smiley so they obviously don’t work like cheap ones
