Pregnacare conception

Hi all,

I'm half way through my second box of Pregnacare conception and started to realise that it's probably messed up my cycle. I have no idea when AF will arrive now and my ovulation date this cycle was later than the previous.

I've bought some basic folic acid tablets to take instead. Are there any other supplements I should take?

Folic acid and vitamin D are all that the nhs advises

YawnyOwl · 10/04/2021 17:07

Why do you think it's messed up your cycle? Was going to take some myself x

There are a few threads on mumsnet where it has changed the cycle length so it's not just an issue for the OP

Thanks @dementedpixie I'll start taking them too.

@YawnyOwl on the box it says that one of the side effects is a change in your cycle, or something like that. Other people have reported that their cycles had become longer, and that's what has happened to mine. I usually ovulate on about CD14 but this month it was CD19 and AF should be here but she's not (I tested and got bfn) so I'm not sure when I'm due on.

It works for some, but clearly just isn't ideal for me.

Oh ffs, my cycles last about 2 months as is, so I'd better not bother!
