OPKs after MVA for MMC

Hi ladies, I had a MMC identified at 8.5 weeks after a scan showing a heartbeat at 6.5 weeks. They think baby’s heart sadly stopped beating just after the first scan... I had an MVA two weeks ago and have just stopped bleeding (sorry if TMI). Still getting a very faint positive on ICs but want to TTC ASAP. Any ideas or experience of when to start using OPKs after an MVA, or how long it usually takes for ovulation to happen once you get your negative test? Thanks so much!

I am just wondering your how was your experience?

I had a MMC @ 8.5 weeks and found out at my 12 week scan. Had The MVA yesterday and eager to start trying again.

I seem mixed messages about going for it before the first period some say it is better for the uterus lining but i can't find anything concrete scientifically.

@ChrisTheSheep16 I’m so sorry for what you’ve been through. I think the waiting to TTC is to do with dating the next pregnancy if you got pregnant straight away but I haven’t looked into the science so it may be worth asking your Dr? It took me 4.5 weeks to test negative after my MVA and another 5-6 days to get a period so not sure I ovulated that cycle. I certainly didn’t get pregnant that month, and when I did, had another MC unfortunately. But I am now 37 weeks so there is hope! Hope you recover well and get your good news soon.
