Spotting Luteal Phase

I'm getting so fed up of this now. Does anybody have any advice on how to peg them the luteal phase. I'm ovulating CD19 and I feel like my lining very slowly starts to shed soon after. It's getting me down as I feel like the spotting is contributing to the egg not being able to implant. How will it implant if the lining is shedding? I'm currently 3dpo and have seen a tiny dot of spotting... which makes me feel like I'm already out Xx

No advice here but wanted to offer a virtual hand hold since I am also bloody fed up with this luteal phase rubbish. Currently ovulating around cd18-20 with a cycle anywhere from 27-29 days lately (9 day LP). Which is short enough on its own but I tend to have spotting 2-3 days before hand and I have no idea whether this contributes to being 'day 1' or not which would make it even shorter. And even if it doesn't count as 'day 1', I have the same worries as you that surely this spotting means that the lining is already on its way out and therefore will be affecting implantation. Sorry I couldn't be a positive reply - but I wanted to reach out and say you're not on your own! xx

It's so frustrating isn't it? Hugs. If it makes you feel any better I had spotting with my 1st pregnancy and we conceived after around 8 months. It's much worse now so I'm a bit worried. Hoping it's just one of those things though. X

I’ve had this also, spotting a few days before my period. My GP and acupuncturist both seemed to think this pointed towards a hormone imbalance. So I have been taking high dose vit C (1000mg) and B vits which are meant to improve progesterone and lengthen luteal phase. I also took soy isoflavones off my own back at the same time. Last cycle I had no spotting and a 12 day luteal phase. So I’m hopeful this continues. I’ve got my hormone blood tests booked in for 3 weeks time to see what’s happening also

Did you have a c section with your first?

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 I took a B complex last month which made a huge difference. No spotting until 12dpo! I also take other vitamins but I think the b complex is the one that helped the most. X

@StarL2021 that's interesting to know! I've taken the B vits for a few months now and didn't see a difference alone, but to be honest I'm taking a few vitamins now so I can't pinpoint exactly which is doing what 😂 Its so hard to know isn't it. Some others on another thread are seed cycling and think that's helped with their hormones also, but grinding seeds every day is a bit too much effort for me!
