Help please confusion pregnant or not ?

So I was on microgynon 30. 2 weeks before my pill free week and period was due I had some spotting - a little light pink and a bit of brown. I thought nothing of it and took my pill as normal. Two weeks later when period was due (I am always on time) there was no period. After 5 days I took a test and it was positive. I was happy. Then a few hits later I did another test to be sure and it was negative. The next day I had a tiny bit of brown discharge when I wiped once and nothing since. I took a test and negative again. I am fearing the worst but keeping a little bit of hope that it’s just early on. I have a blood test booked for tomorrow and so worried they are going to say I’ve miscarried. I am 34 I have a 10 and 11 year old so I’m hoping it’s not too late as this has made me and my fiancé realise we really want a third child: has anyone been through similar? Any advice or experiences welcomed . New to the site so not familiar with the acronyms yet.

What brand of test did you use to get your positive? If you were pregnant, even if the baby had stopped growing, if you've not had a bleed I'd expect you to still text positive because you'd still have hcg in your system.

They were all clear blue tests. All the same ones

@Literaryseed I had an early loss and no bleed for nearly 2 months after.

@Kt1111 it is possible it was a faulty test I had lines on cb and wasn't pregnant :(

@firsttimemummy321 but we're you still getting positive tests until your bleed? I know lots of women have missed miscarriages (my 3 have all been spontaneous) but would still be producing hcg.

One I started bleeding at about 5 weeks the next day passed clots and digital was not pregnant within less than a week later tests were negative but were a squinter line after the bleed.

I've had 2 others where I didn't bleed at all but after 2 weeks of faint lines they faded and went negative

Over new year I had positives, went negative 2nd week in jan, no bleeding. Got more faint positives mid feb, end feb went negative, no bleeding. Started bleeding 7dpo in March pink then like a light period, then got faint positives for 2 weeks that went negative but no other bleeding. Now 5dpo again and will see what this month brings 🙈

So had 3 since dec and only one small bleed

Sounds like a chemical pregnancy.

Waiting on blood results . Results Monday. I don’t think I’m pregnant now but the good thing is it’s made me and my fiancé realise we really do want another baby. My issue now is not knowing fertile days due to not having a period.
