This bus is the one where TTC happens in many different forms, shagging conventionally, unconventionally, with the help of scientific intervention, IUI/ICSI/Clomid/IVF & even just watching from the top of the bus 👀. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been trying for days, weeks, months or like some of us we’ve been around each other for so long we can’t bear to leave, nothing is TMI and there’s never a silly question...

Hell we KNOW TTC is tough, lots of us have had heart ache & are chasing 🌈so we are there for each other, as well as trying to have laughs along the way 🥰☺️

Thanks for the tip @dkdk123, will look at that. I'm a pretty stressy/anxious person (only realised lately how much). My GP told me last year that he reckons my stress levels might have been a factor in me not getting pregnant. Trying to manage it a bit better now but not easy with a threenager, work, and ya know a global pandemic!! Oh and the whole ttc thing 😋 I wish I was better at managing it but trying not to add that to my list of things ti be stressed about!!

Taking a look at woebot too, also stress/anxiety ridden person over here! Now infiltrating my sleep patterns and I wake in the night for a couple hours. 😣

Gather round gather round! Come and help a poor woman losing her mind about her irregular cycles.

So here is the evidence for ovulation being now or soon: a) an ovulation test which shows a line getting darker, Femometer (what a name!) telling me it’s a “high” even though the line is clearly not as dark as the test line. B) me experiencing intense hormal swings which make me want to cry or murder everyone depending on the minute. C) a consistent level of horn d) period pains and sore boobs

The evidence against:

A) this would be an early ovulation - day 18 when it appear ovulation happens on average between days 24-35 (I know it’s awesome isn’t it)

B) according to the 18 different apps I use, I experience PMS symptoms apparently at random throughout my cycle so it’s not a good indicator.

C) no CM - but there has basically been no CM for weeks. Either I’m having a dry month or I’m no where near ovulation.

Also I can’t reach my cervix - do I have the longest vaginas canal on the planet?

Mostly I’m just so SICK of obsessing about it but simultaneously petrified of missing it. Have already cried this morning. Help!

@pennysays we have a couple of opk experts, they’ll be along in a minute , how long are your cycles love, I am on cd 15, ovulation just over allegedly, and having cramps, don’t normally at this part of the cycle

@franklydear My app says my cycles are around 46 days, this appears to be the most common length of cycle I have, though my body like to throw in a few 20 day and 90 cycles just to keep me on my tooooooooeeeessss. sobs

@lucyrp you look gorgeous, glowing, no whales in sight, and oh can start to impress pronto, until you finish breastfeeding nowhere near the litter, it never went back to be my duty after dh doing it for so long
@pennysays we are all ballerinas, spent so much time in our toes, my cycles are now 24/25 days, so nearly as af is finish is fw already, and then tww, no calming time in between

@paintfairy I 100% think stress and anxiety does play a role in ttc, not necessarily the whole picture but it definitely plays its part in altering hormone balance and health. I know loads of people in the ttc community hate the 'relax and it'll happen' phrase but I do think there's some truth to it the only problem being its not so easy to relax when ttc for a long time and that in itself causes more stress/anxiety so you're stuck between a rock and a hard place.

@blondepotter you get a very hungover DH to deal with screaming baby and stinky nappies (all while secretly supervising in the background) and it'll put them off getting ridiculously drunk for a looooong time. At least that's what worked with mine, he has the genuine fear of being hungover with a child around now 😂
@MartyMcShy interesting your GP mentioned stress as a possible barrier! Threenager at home here too, everyone goes on about the terrible 2s I dont think there was enough heads up about the threenager stage I've definitely found it more difficult than the terrible 2s 😂

@pennysays have you tried the easy@home ovulation sticks? I found them so much clearer to read the lines are more obvious. Try the premom app too if you haven't already got it, I find it more accurate in reading opks than femometer.

@BlondePotter well it's the first big blow out really after lockdown but bird seed?! And when you know the answer to the growing up can you write a blog on it please?!! At least let us know 🤗he obviously drink your share for you 😬

@pennysays we all need help!! Those strips are very faint to start with? It seems like they are progressing though. PMS symptoms all month I think we are all just like that tbh when we obsess, maybe either temp or take iso soy flavour whatever they are?? We have found that grapefruit juice and evening primrose oil helps ewcm, I'm drier than the Sahara & that def helps. Do you have short fingers?? I'd disregard the cervix tbh it's really hard (forgive the language) to do consistently. It's just mainly shit irregular cycles are. There are a few ladies here who feel the same. How long have you been trying for the sequel?

Ok @DKDK123 I have downloaded Premom app and it seems to be speaking more sense than Femometer. I’ll stick with that and maybe use easy @ home sticks because yes @Minster2012 you’re right all the lines are so faint - not like the ones you see on the internet!

Right grapefruit juice and evening primrose oil. Ok. I was taking agnus castus but was freaking out that I might be messing with my cycle. Maybe I’ll start next month. But it’s reassuring that your CM situation is similar. And I will stop trying to touch my cervix with my creepily short fingers or my disturbingly long vaginas canal.

I am temping but that chart isn’t making any sense right now!

Oh yes we need dog pictures @pennysays here's mine, don't shout at the dog and don't let the dogs touch your creepy long vagina either (I also have a MASSIVE vagina cage we think where the swimmers FLOW out of like a water slide) btw grapefruit juice only works not from concentrate, we recommend Tropicana golden grapefruit both most of us think it tastes like ass so it's called ass fruit juice here. If you get a handle on charts and stuff then yes you get a Nobel prize 🏆

@paintfairy on my other thread a lady tested today purely because her rhr normally is on 55 for AF but had shot up to 76 - and yup, she had a strong bfp!

I can't believe you're at the beach @Minster2012 😂 it was beautiful sunshine this morning but then the hailing started and it's absolutely Baltic outside. Literally on the safe under a duvet and my feet are still cold. Very tempted to make cake though, the cake craving is real.

Welcome @pennysays! I feel you on irregular cycles, mine have been anywhere between 30 - 87 days in the last year 🙄 nothing like a random, near impossible to predict ovulation day to really spice things up 😂

DH has his sperm analysis tomorrow and I am super worried about it. Mostly anxious about where to park at the hospital and how to actually find the clinic (the hospital is absolutely enormous and also a teaching hospital so it's ridiculously easy to end up in the wrong bit). Maybe I should look into the Woebot app too - how is everyone else getting on with it?

@Dollybird89 yaaaaaaaaaasssssss! An 8day AF is far more reasonable than 5 weeks, nice one!

@MartyMcShy it's interesting your doctor said that about stress. But it's so hard to de-stress!! I don't know about you but I am currently stressing about being stressed 😂🙈
