This bus is the one where TTC happens in many different forms, shagging conventionally, unconventionally, with the help of scientific intervention, IUI/ICSI/Clomid/IVF & even just watching from the top of the bus 👀. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been trying for days, weeks, months or like some of us we’ve been around each other for so long we can’t bear to leave, nothing is TMI and there’s never a silly question...

Hell we KNOW TTC is tough, lots of us have had heart ache & are chasing 🌈so we are there for each other, as well as trying to have laughs along the way 🥰☺️

@Franklydear been snowing all morning here! Madness but at least my garden is getting some precipitation. It's an 8x5 metre garden so quite small but omg I've been loving having it soooo much. I spend all my free time weeding, pruning, planting, sowing etc. We are going to putting in new fences, new shed and new patio (although in stages as the kitchen extension will ruin the garden anyway) and I can't wait for it to be done so I can get going with a beautiful cottage garden look.

@Minster2012 that looks really yum! What's the latest on when you start on your meds etc?

Sorry been quiet... feel really frustrated that I haven't bled yet @Minster2012 😪 I know it's up in the air anyway because of my cysts but kind of hoped if all other boxes were ticked I could maybe progress but looks like my body doesn't want to play ball 🤷🏽‍♀️ My boobs have been sore for about 4-5 days now and I had a lot of pain last night on my left ovary too (the one with the cyst) but was hoping it was just cramps and I was going to wake up to af but nope! Anyway, pleased you feel better after your jab. Such a good sign that your boobs are big. Even if it isn't a bfp this cycle, it's a really good sign your body is getting back to normal now! That halloumi dish looks absolutely delish! Can you send me a pic of the recipe sheet please? That looks like a good protein dish for during stims and I have some chemoula spice left over where they sent me too much on my box.

God dam dog wouldn't settle last night so I've hardly slept. Got electrician coming at some point and all I wanna do is nap 🙄 af is back with an ugly head.. think she just wanted the weekend off for 🍆 ... false hope and all that.. put a bit of a downer on things but that's life for me I guess... trying to resist the urge to have a spending spree

Def hoping the cysts are gone. God damn bodies. Why do they f everything up when we don't want??? Yeah I'm so hoping it means my body might actually be making its own progesterone but boob ache gone now & replaced by dull cramping from yesterday 🤣😂honestly being a woman is so frustrating!

@Juno231 is it kitchen first on the Reno stage? Has it started? So I'm waiting to see what this cycle is like before waiting to make any decisions, in theory we are gonna call ivf unit on CD1 of next af & start as all in place but DH & I have chatted & IF I have a "normal" cycle where I maybe have ovulated then we might leave it a few cycles & actually TTC. Seeing as we've never been allowed before in our entire 11 years together & ive never had an ovulation it might be a bit silly to mess it up straight away when we know he's ok & my AMH is in theory lowish but ok whilst our stuff can stay on file with ivf clinic. But not wait too long as I'm 37 in the summer with problems obs. My last cycle was 36 days but no peak reading. So we'll see.

Managed to get some when he came home. It wasn't very romantic, he couldn't get the smell of rubber off his hands so I just told him not to touch me and keep his hands away from me as the smell was killing me 😂

@Franklydear yes middle of the night sex is probably the best IMO. Bonkers on the queues, I'm babysitting my friends baby today and we're staying home well out of it.

@larrythelizard that's good on DH, I didn't think you had anything to worry about and glad you're feeling happier today, I'm finding this month in particular so up and down. I was so so down Saturday and today I feel the opposite end of the scale 🤷‍♀️

@Dollybird89 bloody AF, I just don't get intermittent bleeding like surely if it's there it'll come out all at the same time not when it feeling like it. Try and curb the spree (easier said than done, I'm very much like that when feeling crappy)

@Minster2012 ah yes that makes sense and how exciting! Best of luck to you to TTC au naturale! We've still not started anything - waiting for the technical drawings to conclude, then will have to get a site inspector and get builders quotes in. No idea what we start with anymore. The plan was always to do the loft first as we keep being told start top down so you don't ruin the ground/first floors once they're done by having builders traipse filth up to the loft. But now our engineer is saying he'd advise the opposite as obv the ground floor will need to support a whole new floor being added and if we do the loft first we'll have remedial works needing to be done by the time we start the ground floor. Eg new cracks in loft, moving of waste pipes, moving the central heating etc. I reckon the whole shabang will cost us 180k (london prices!) so can't do it all in one go unfortunately...

@Dollybird89 your AFs are nuts. How long before you call the docs again to demand they do something about it?

@Minster2012 just missed that an the au natural TTC, that's exciting. What for sure will sway you to do one or the other this cycle? Have you been temping to confirm ov? I've tried it this month, don't like it tbh. My peak was apparently Thursday but not had a temp change so maybe not fired anything 🤷‍♀️

@Juno231 ahh sounds major work, what are you doing on the other floors? we finished our extension last year, never again, never moving but so worth all the stress that's yet to come!

AF came in the middle of the night for me. Horrendous cramps and could not sleep. Should have got up and taken painkillers but I couldn't be bothered and regretted it. Took some at 7 and went back to bed. Decided that is what working at home most be for! On this occasion. Isn't usually that bad. Rubbish.

@larrythelizard thank you on the tiles! We have them in 3 colour ways on the house to tie everything together (& we have an orange kitchen tap too 🤣)

@Dollybird89 do you have an appointment sooner than may? Keep going with the motivation darling, getting the BMI down will mean fertility help sooner as yes they will complain bout that and you are doing sooooo well but lots of ladies get pregnant larger & your cycles shouldn't just be explained Cos of that

@bez91 urgh rubber if do the same. I don't temp no as I struggle with sleep, I'm having day 21 bloods done tomorrow but I fear too late as OV could have been anywhere from last sat to last mon but it was all they could get me in on. If I have another period where it's around 12/14 days after when the peak was we will keep trying, as that means 2 "normal" cycles of around 36 or whatever days for the first time in my life, one with a peak reading. So we will keep going for a few months we think. I'm nearly 37 and last cycle was my first ever non medicated proper "cycle" AF despite it being after the ivf drugs from feb. So this would be my first ever "absolutely normal" cycle. Might as well try a bit before spending another £5k!

Honestly can't be arsed with queuing I'm trying to avoid shops more! 🤣

@Juno231 yes that's a tough one I guess, I'd always start with what I need the most (kitchen) and work around that but unsure if whole thing needing doing if I'd want to risk an expensive kitchen 🤔yeah good luck with that 🤣but I mean cottage garden sounds amazing! I'm here touching up the chips in paintwork from our lovely new home which is only 4 years old 😂😬

@bez91 gah and the worst thing is that this is not our forever home lol. We've got a bog standard victorian semi that we're adding a side and rear extension to (small mind you, as the garden isn't big so can't afford to eat into it) and rejigging the whole layout + adding utility room and downstairs loo. We're replastering/skimming and doing the cosmetics through the house and putting a new bathroom in on the first floor (plus extending it by one foot to fit a bathtub in). Aaand then we're adding a loft conversion with 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. So will be a 5 bed, 2,5 bathroom house in the end.

@Minster2012 yeah we def need the ground floor more than the loft... I'm leaning towards this also.

Ah amazing, thank you @Minster2012. These are our meals from Gousto this week. Yeah I think from reading you need the bleed before stims as you need your uterus lining to be thin. Looking up online if you get to cd40 they give you something to induce a bleed. I'm so pleased for you though...it's really good signs! Shows how much the body heals naturally after everything you've been through!

@minster2012 I got a blood test Wednesday for some repeat bloods and extras but then it's but 28th may.. I'm looking forward to getting my fitbit as my old crappy one died on me and without it I struggle for motivation and I think I can't track my steps so sod it. .. Got such a sweet tooth craving today plus cramps urrgghhh

@Crazydoglady123 they look lovely!! Will look into the gousto later on in the week & that should give you more credit too 😊, makes sense they need to start from scratch argh silly bodies. Yes I really hope it is my body kick starting into action, we think it's because it's now 2 years since finishing chemo & also my addisons steroid deficiency is well managed & last time my AMH was done it wasn't diagnosed then so my body wasn't producing cortisol & we just didn't realise, from reading it's very linked to fertility so def think it's that. Last times it was after MMC so all screwed up from that I guess then after ivf same. We'd rather try avoid ivf for a bit as each time for me it's not been straight forward I guess same as you are finding. It's so tough, I totally feel you darling, stay strong, we are here. 🥰😘

@Juno231 based on those plans I would def do wrap around bottom extension first then middle & top layer (or bottom & middle depending how the stairs are figured) I would leave loft til last to see how costs/child pans out

@Minster2012 I was looking at Gousto after trying the hellofresh. I noticed they let you order less in a week (2 meals) which I'd prefer. Need to find a voucher first though 😆 @Crazydoglady123 let us know how those Gousto meals turn out!

I’m shattered, I spent the morning cleaning the house. Now I need to study and I’m going one drink at the pub to see everyone because I’m not keen on outside drinks for too long at this temp. Premom says today is ovulation day but I haven’t got positive on OPK’s yet. 😫😫😫😫 my bits are tired and I reckon I won’t ovulate until Wednesday which terms of dates will be closer to when I ovulated last month. 3-4 days of sex might actually kill me 🤣🤣🤣
