I've been TTC since the new year. Each cycle, the cheap OV strips have detected an LH surge (followed by AF so I'm sure I would have ovulated). I started using the dual CB OV test along side, so I could detect more fertile days pre ovulation. The first cycle was a blank face, followed by peak the next day, confirmed with a cheap test strip being dark for 2 days and AF 12 days later.
This cycle, I had 3 days of flashing smiley faces (morning urine) and then a peak face at 2pm urine on the 4th day of testing (cycle day 18). But the cheap OV sticks (same urine) didn't pick up on a peak LH surge like the previous months. It was slightly darker than usual, but no where near as dark as the previous months.
Wondering if it was a very short surge so I missed it on the cheap sticks. Or whether CB was wrong. Anyone else had similar worries?
