How to tell a friend who is TTC my news?

Hi guys

I'm hoping you can help give me some perspectives on this please. I'm 13 weeks pregnant through IVF treatment and we've started to share our news. However one of my friends has been TTC for about 7 months and has shared with me that she's feeling frustrated and down about it. She knows we've been having treatment but not what the result is yet and I want to tell her in the most sensitive way I can. I know I hated pregnancy announcements when I was TTC so wondered if you guys could help me work out the best way to share the news with her please? Thanks so much.

Text OP 🙂 let her know you wanted to tell her personally but also appreciate if she needs some space - it'll give her time to process your news without it being face to face. If she knows you were doing IVF, she will be aware the possibility of a pregnancy announcement was coming and hopefully knows that you know exactly how she is feeling.

Ps congratulations! My IVF miracle is now 15 months and soundly asleep on me!
