Evap line? Blue in colour?

Hi, I took the top test last night and the bottom one this morning. There is a super faint line in the top pic which can barely even be seen on camera and a quite bold line on the bottom pic.... the thing is they were both negative when I did them, I got them out of my bag to throw away a few hours after the 2nd test this morning and had a bit of a shock. This defo has to be an evap line right? With it being after the 10 mins? I always thought they were not coloured but surely if this was genuinely positive it would have come up in the 10 mins it says. . . Anyone have any thoughts?

I think you need to do another one. You can't trust any line outside of the test window. That said the only old tests of mine that had lines on (that developed outside of the window) were when I was pregnant.

Oh I should add that I'm also 3 days late now .... I'm never late but did ov a couple of days later than normal but af should be here by now. No sign

Are these the clear blue 6 days early tests? I've had that with them this week too! A faint line getting darker as the day goes on that's definitely blue not grey! Sadly think it's a chemical though as they got fainter and now I've taken two that had no line and no lines have appeared a day later 🤷🏼 I've also taken them in the past and had negatives with nothing appearing after so tbf I'd be cautiously optimistic, good luck for tomorrow!!

@Endogal yes it is! Oh no, so sorry! 😢hope that isn't the case for you :(

I never knew trying to get pregnant could be so confusing! 🙈 (our first was a surprise!)

Fingers crossed for you. I don't know how the fact that it was outside of the time affects it, but hopefully you get the result you want.

@Caaarrrl apparently with the blue dye ones evap lines are quite a big thing but I cant find anything with so much colour to compare to. Thank you fingers crossed

🤞🏻 but I got lines like this and wasn't pregnant (blood test) try a frer they are much more reliable. I have had lines appear after the time limit before on other brands that were a super early positive (wasn't enough hormone to show in the time frame) and got a positive the following day so try again today/tomorrow and if it appears within the time limit I'd say positive 🤞🏻

Mmm the blue line is very thin which in my experience tends to mean evap line but obviously I hope in wrong for you xx

K8Tee · 08/04/2021 07:53

Thanks ladies! Well I'm out. 4 days late (I am like clockwork so this was wierd for me), a questionably strong evap line and AF arrived this morning sad good luck ladies, l will be following still and moving over to the next month when it comes xx
