TTC after covid vaccination support thread

Has anyone had the covid vaccine and got pregnant after ? We are trying, I’ve had 2 x az vaccines (feeling apprehensive due to the news recently about it)
I thought it may help to have a support thread for anyone trying after vaccines as I know it’s a bit of a worry for a lot of people and I am a little nervous !

Following. I'm about to have my second dose next week. Feeling a little nervous now 😬

Out of interest how long did you wait to resume ttc after each jab? I'm doing ivf and I think my clinic insist on waiting a while.

But we'd still try naturally I think. Although I admit I haven't read anything about this recently.

@seven201 I think that must depend on your clinic as I was mid way through an ivf cycle when I was called for the first vaccine and my clinic actively encouraged me to take the jab. I wasn't ultimately successful and have plans to try again but I will be due the second vaccine a week or so before the cycle is due to start and they've again told me to go ahead and get the vaccine and they are happy to go ahead with the cycle so long as I am physically well at the time.

@JustOneMoreStep oh that is interesting, thank you! I will ask my clinic at my next appt. I'd love to have the vaccine as I'm a secondary teacher, and feel quite exposed. Sorry your last go wasn't successful, best of luck for the next one.

I was told by my gp no need to wait at all
It could be different for ivf though I’m not sure although I can’t see why x
