Line eyes please - sainsburys test

Good morning,

Long story short but I didn’t think there was a chance I was pregnant as I was on my period last week, but then I got a positive test on Easter Sunday.

Tested with FMU today with a sainsburys test and what do you think of this result?

I think the horizontal line is a bit darker in real life than the pic shows it is, but is the vertical line is the test line?

Also forgot to mention another reason for this post is I have been reading up on how unreliable the sainsburys tests are this morning. Wish I hadn’t bought it now 🙈

I never usually post on these as I can never see anything and don't want to get people's hopes up but I can 100% see that. I had a positive test after a week after what I thought was a period - DS is almost 10 now! Smile

As the instructions show, the vertical line is the test line. I think a lot of people get very faint evap lines with these tests that make them think they've got a positive but that's a very clear positive.

You can always test with a FRER or digital to confirm

@Threeisme wow that’s amazing! Sounds unreal doesn’t it. What made you test a week after your period if you don’t mind me asking?

@RizzleRazzle good idea, will get another brand tonight and test again tomorrow. Also hoping to get referred to EPU today for my bloods to be done

The 'period' was light- just 2 or 3 days and I was feeling faint, sore boobs, just different.

@Threeisme sometimes your body just knows! I’m not having any symptoms and my bleeding lasted almost a week but it was quite light compared to my normal periods.

Feel so confused at the moment but hopefully by the end of the week I might know what’s happening 🙈

I got Sainsbury's tests for all three of mine, they looked exactly like that and I have three babies...cautious congrats!
