Cervical changes whilst TTC?

I know the cervix goes soft when ovulating and then hardens up if not conceived, however does it still harden and then go soft again in the weeks after ovulation and before implantation? Or would it remain soft?

First month monitoring cervical changes here 🙂

Based on my own research, I think the cervix stays high and soft after ovulation if conceived, and gets harder and lowers if you haven't conceived.

I've tried finding out when it goes hard, a few days before period, during period, straight after ovulation and I can't find much info on this at all. I haven't been able to track when the change happens in mine either yet.

Maybe a better indicator is whether it's high, mid or low? For me that is easier to tell. Mine was high during ovulation and came down about midway after, it then went back up again maybe 4-5 days after ovulation (no period yet, not sure if I've conceived or not). Today I am 8/9DPO and it's high and soft.

Hi @Babydom I tried tracking my cervix and it is soft and high when you're fertile but if I were you I'd stop tracking after ovulation it will drive you crazy. I thought mine was low and hard and ended up being pregnant! Try not to worry about it.
