Feel pregnant but negative tests?

I’m about 2-3 days late for my period at the moment, having pangs of nausea and got that hungover feeling you have in early pregnancy (haven’t been drinking!) I had some cramping over a week ago now which I thought might be implantation, and I had some sharp pains in my uterus area a couple of days ago. No spotting or bleeding at all.

So far I’ve taken 2 Sainsbury’s tests and 1 clear blue which is supposed to be ‘ultra sensitive’ and they’re all negative! I’ve been pregnant 4 times before (2 dc and 2 mc) and I just FEEL pregnant. Has this happened to anyone else and showed up positive later? The clear blue one says it’s over 99% accurate if you test after your period is due, so maybe it’s a chemical pregnancy and hcg is too low to register? But if that’s the case how can it be making me feel nauseas and hungover? Arrghhh. So frustrating!

I’ve attached a photo of the clearblue I’ve just done - is it normal for the window to look patchy blue like this? I’ve never used clearblue before...

The test is faulty - I'd do a dip test with a FRER

Oh really? Is that why it looks patchy? I’ve got another one in the box but I might wait until tomorrow morning first thing.... they were heavily reduced in boots so maybe they’re going out of date!

That looks like a faulty test to me - I would do another one. When did you take the Sainsbury's tests? I would expect a test to be pretty clearly positive if you are late for your period though.

I'm 7 weeks pregnant and I didn't feel nauseous that early on but that doesn't mean it's not possible.

@Wowthisisreal I took the Sainsbury’s ones a few days ago, I think Weds & Thurs... my cycle isn’t always bang on but I expected my period around then. I’ve had nausea from 4 weeks in 3 out of 4 of my previous pregnancies! Not the first one (nausea kicked in bang on 6 weeks then) but the subsequent ones it’s been 4 weeks and gradually got worse...
