Hey everyone,

I am after some advice. I have been tracking for the first time this month and just wanted your opinion on whether the day which is ‘peak’ looks like a positive ovulation test to you? The control line seemed lighter than normal but I have read that this doesn’t matter as long as the line is there. The app is saying it is my peak but just wanted to double check that others could see that the lines were the same colour too. I find it really hard to tell. I tested again the morning after and it had dropped so just wondered what people’s thoughts were. Unfortunately I couldn’t test again on that particular day as I was out of my house so I am thinking that the line may have got darker would I have tested that evening.

Thank you x

@JL2175 I think the test line looks darker than the control line which means this is a positive OPK. If you take OPKs for a good few days after a positive and you get no more darker lines than the control line, you should take the darkest result you got as your peak 😊 Hope this makes sense.

Thanks so much for replying to me. I continued testing and got these results. Hoping the line starts to fade now to suggest ovulation occurred 🤞🏼 I know these tests are there to help but I have definitely found them quiet stressful. I have had irregular periods since stopping the pill so decided to use these with some vitamins to find out a bit more about my cycles and to make sure that ovulation is trying to happen. Thanks so much for responding xxx

I found using them very stressful! I started using them on CD7 and didn’t get a peak until CD19 so I just felt like it was never going to happen!

Saying that I do think they are so helpful to understand more about what’s going on in your body to pinpoint ovulation otherwise it’s a guessing game.

I fell pregnant on the first month of trying 🥰 I wish you the best of luck with your TTC journey 💕
