Implantation? Anyone had this before?

Anyone had red, bloody mucous before getting a bfp?

I have had spotting yesterday and today it's a bit more heavy but still more pink than red, it's definitely not like my normal flow. It's more like bloody mucous as it's slimy and pale. TMI.

@Tinklebell33 I have just posted with a similar question. I had two days of abundant yellow cm followed by light spotting yesterday. Took a test this morning at 9BFN and negative - very confused!

Oh Makka, I'm sorry about the bfn! It's awful isn't it? And very confusing!!

Have you bled at all? Maybe give it a few days and test again. Sending baby dust

Hi Tinkerbell what you describe sounds like an implantation bleed. How many DPO are you?

Tinklebell33 · 03/04/2021 11:15

Hi Ree, my last period started on 28th feb. So that would make me maybe 16-20dpo?

I don't know for certain when I ovulated but it was between 14th and 18th. I had fertile mucus around that time.

Just so confused at the moment. I use a fertility tracker and according to that my period was due on 28th March so I was 5 days late before I started spotting according to the app anyway

At 16-18 DPO I would expect the implantation bleed to occur earlier as I think implantation normal occurs around 8-10 DPO. It may be a start of your period, I would monitor it and if your period doesn't start in the next few days I would test. Good luck!

Yeah I was thinking it might be too late. That's why I'm confused because none of it adds up!

I'll keep an eye on it and see what happens.

When you're TTC your body does all sorts of weird things!

Good luck with it all
