Confused about ovulation

So I bought clear blue digital ovulation test and I took on the day my app told me I was Ovulating and it just came back with a circle not smiley face (means not ovulating) but when took test strip out it had 2 blue lines never thought anything of it took another test few days later and same again it’s now been a week and a few days and tested same thing happened again and keep getting these 2 blue lines does this mean anything??

The first go on a clear blue ovulation stick will always be a blank circle. They are not designed to be taken apart and will always show two lines. If you want to see line comparison, I'd recommend buying cheapie sticks from Amazon.

Chances are.. if you only started tested on the day you were supposed to be ovulating.... you've missed it. The ovulation sticks pick up the LH surge. Which happens 12/48 hours before ovulation. If you generally have a 28 day cycle, start testing on cd 10ish.

I start testing with clear blue digital 5 days before they recommended on the packet as I ovulate very early, I get my peak usually around the day they tell me to start testing so I'd have missed out on all my high fertility days

Apps are pretty unreliable at predicting ovulation. I have a 27/28 day cycle and an app would predict I ovulate on day 14. In reality I ovulate on day 11 or 12 so I would get my peak on an OPK on day 10 or 11. I start OPKs on day 8. Next cycle I would suggest you start testing much earlier than the predicted day of ovulation - read the instructions that came with your OPKs. Good luck
