Hi. This might be a stupid question but I'm going to ask any ! Currently taking 5mg lethrozole and using trigger shot. While using lethrozole I've basically had a 28 day cycle with ovulation generally happening on cd14 . Luthral phase usually 14 days even when I wasn't on lethrozole and cycles were irregular. This cycle however I started with a dietician and completely cut out dairy and sugars (I have pcos) . Long story short I got a blazing positive opk on afternoon cd11 . Triggered a few hours later and on sat morn o started to feel strong enough ovulation cramps so I'm pretty certain I ovulated Saturday. My temps seem to point that way also. Tomorrow is 14dpo . I havent done any tests yet . Usually I get some symptoms of impending doom a few days out from af but nothing so far. Would my luthral phase still stay 14 days as normal or does it get longer as I ovulated cd 12 ??

I've just done a medicated cycle with letrozole and trigger injection - did you have any scans? I had 3 follicles and it delayed my usual ovulation, but I had a scan and one was 17mm, 2x16mm so I was allowed to trigger the next night.

Because you think you ovulated early, your period is due sooner than normal, so if you usually come on at 14dpo, you're due in the next day or so, I would think if you tested now, it would be pretty conclusive. Good luck.

Thanks for getting back . This os my 5th cycle on lethrozole and third with the trigger. I've had scans for nearly all the cycles but not this one as I didn't want to be in the docs too much with covid and my gp seemed happy with how I responded on my other cycles ( generally always one biggie with a few guys behind, last scan was one with possible second but she couldn't be sure with the angle) . Last cycle I triggered on evening of cd and popped cd 14 . This cycle however I planned to do the same again , trigger late cd 12 with view of ovulating on cd14 . Thank god I used the opks!

Was this your first cycle using the trigger ? Are you currently in your tww? I'll test in the morning. No symptoms at all really. Had heavy boobs and nipples got sensitive last night to touch but that's it. I had that last time I was pregnant and I've also had it with af so god knows. All I know is she doesn't feel like she's coming yet

This was my first cycle on letrozole, but my specialist put me on 7.5mg, which I thought was high! Initially I didn't respond and my lining was crap, so I had to go back and thankfully I had grown 3 good ones 🤞 I got a positive opk on Saturday and triggered that night and I'm almost definite that I ovulated on Sunday.... So a while to wait before testing. I have recurrent miscarriages, so we're giving this a try before starting ivf.

Let me know how tomorrow goes, got my fingers crossed for you 🤞 good luck! X
