Hi, I've been reading about impryl on the fertility family website and am considering on whether to get it or not. Just wondering has anyone ever used it?

Hi @Lauraliverpool
I've been using Impryl since last August - my fertility consultant recommended I use it after I was found to have low AMH (5.7 when I was 34). I haven't had my AMH retested since, but I just finished an IVF cycle where we got 9 eggs and 8 fertilized and got to Day3, which is MUCH better than I expected... I obviously cannot pin it on Impryl and I've done other things since like acupuncture but, in doubt, I continue taking it even though it is very expensive.
I hope that helps somehow... Good luck :)

Hi @beachbum85, thank you for replying, we've just finished two rounds of IVF which failed, now considering whether to start trying ourselves again and thought about getting impryl. That's fab to hear how well you did with your ivf cycle, it definitely seems to have had a positive effect 🙂 I think I'm going to get some, it is expensive but if its going to help then its definitely worth it. It has helped, thank you so much.

Thanks @Lauraliverpool :) In the end we didn't do too well as we had 1 early blast implanted but no frosties, so it was a huge drop-off from the 8 that were developing well on Day 3. But I've since learnt that after Day 3 it's the sperm that takes over, so me taking Impryl or not would have had nothing to do with that drop-off anyway.
Sorry to hear about your failed cycles and good luck for your next round if you decide to go ahead!

@beachbum85 our first round we got eight, seven fertilised then the number went down to three, this cycle we got three, one only fertilised and the other two, one was immature and the other didn't fertilise. We're not going to do any more rounds as we only paid for two. Just thinking of trying ourselves and seeing what happens. Didn't know that about after day 3 it's the sperm that takes over, that is interesting! Wishing you luck on your journey! ♥

Hi there… wanted to share a success story about IMPRYL! 43 years old and told we were not able to conceive, more than likely because just a few follicles on one side and none on the other based on the vaginal ultrasound …. Had my honey and I take it daily since October, and we are now almost 7 weeks pregnant with our 1st child together , I have two previously. We had been having unprotected sex since we met in Oct 2019….
our first appointment is next Wednesday .. I highly recommend IMPRYL. I’m a nurse and did ALOT of research! Whether nature or IVF, it’s a win-win.

What is it about it that you think works?

It looks to contain normal supplements available elsewhere, for less.
