Bit of advice needed
Got my static smiley yesterday and a peak on premom then this morning tested again with opks and it changed and my peak was today?
Do I put a positive sign for yesterday and today for fertility friend or just today?

I'm going to try to resist wasting my frer until the day after AF is due this time around...unless I get proper pregnancy symptoms before. Trying to avoid being a total POAS addict 😬🤣

Af arrived today so I'm out. My cycles and LP are now shorter since mc too so that can't be good either. Partner away for work so I'll be out for May too. This is so draining I just feel like throwing everything away and giving up

Hi all just wondering is it OK to jump on, can anybody give me advice on anemia and ttc? I had to have an iron infusion last month as my iron levels were so low, it takes a few weeks to feel the effects but im starting to feel them now I think not as tired etc. It seems to have changed my CM too as before it was almost non existent, im on cd 17 now but think I missed my peak, on cd 13/14 I had like lots of clear CM with like brownish/red blood in it so im thinking has the iron started to put things right, also I drank almost no water and now am drinking loads so think this may be helping too, I have 2 sons almost 17 & just turned 18 and a 2½ year old grandson, im 38 so would literally be starting over like new, am I mad? All advice appreciated, baby dust to all.

@amyannx I get a slight temp dip just before ovulation, and I’ve read that’s quite common, so it could be that?

@TigerDaisy thanks I'm hoping so as my opk test have been going up and down this cycle not quite positives but darker lines and the last few days I have got my peak and positive tests so I'm going to count tomorrow as 1dpo x

Oh I'm sorry @justwant2beamum 😕 I felt like that a few days ago too. How long have you been trying? Be gentle with yourself, this is such an emotional rollercoaster x

Hello @BabyDustAllRound83, I don’t have any experience with anemia pre pregnancy so can’t comment, but I’m 42 and had my 2nd at 40 after a 10 year gap and I’m so glad I had her! I think it did feel like starting again, but I’m more chilled and a better parent this time around. We’re trying for a 3rd too! xx

@justwant2beamum I feel the same this morning. AF arrived for me yesterday morning.....about 25 mins after a really bad indent on a test. My husband had me convinced I was pregnant. Was a good 24.5 mins 😔 I'm only on cycle 4 now. But my god is it emotionally draining! Even at this stage. Iv been annoyingly positive up to this point but today I just feel miserable & like I couldn't be bothered ever trying again. I'll snap out of it. Hopefully you feel better soon x

Hi everyone, please help... does this mean I am ovulating?? Or is the test line fainter than the control one in this photo?
Flo tells me I ovulated yday, we DTD Saturday morning - so I don’t know if I am ovulating now & need to dtd again tonight or if we’ve missed it?

@Elisabeth2021 you definately Havnt missed it. A positive LH test means ovulation will occur in 24-48 hours. After the eggs release if lives for 12 hours. So from positive result you have up to 60hours. I'd say that's almost positive and keep testing. And keep DTD over the next few days! The more the better! Do you track BBT?

@justwant2beamum I’m so sorry you feel like that, it is so disheartening isn’t it, I feel like I’m actually going crazy at the moment, by the end of this week I will know either way, I’m almost certain I’m out, I can’t stop googling things to give myself false hope!!

Hi everyone it's been a long cycle for me this month! I had a long cycle last month and for the last couple of months I don't think I've been ovulating. So this month I decided to test my lh levels right to the end of my cycle and I'm glad I did as I got a proper lh peak for the first time since Dec. My temps have been high the last couple of days but the app hasn't added cross hairs. Have I ovulated?

Do you know if the line starts to get lighter again after ovulation? Or does the line just disappear once ovulation has occurred?
And no I don’t track BBT at the moment, do you? Would you recommend it? Also sorry to hear AF arrived for you this time, wishing you lots of luck for next!! xx

@Lee0511 looking at the BBT I would say you may have ovulated on 25th April as you have a drop followed by a sharp temp rise there. If that sharp rise stays up for 3 days it confirms ovulation. LH surge means you will ovulate in the next 24-48, but it can be even longer from the surge. I'm no expert at all! but that would be my guess. If I was you I'd keep LH testing just to be sure & DTD when you can. Good luck 🍀

@Elisabeth2021 I only started using opks for the first time last month so I had the same question! I attached my opks from the premom app here (which I really recommend). See on cycle day 16 I thought that was my peak at the time and I put it in a group on my app & they were all like nope not it! Keep testing. So I did and you can see I got it the next day CD17. Then I just kept testing and it went down gradually maybe over 3-4 days. I kept testing until it was really low. I think everyone is different. I think last months mistake I made was focusing too much on DTD on CD 16,17,18 when the surge was there....when I should have also done 19,20 etc (and a bit more before the surge too). That's this months strategy....the more DTD the better! 😅 Fingers crossed!

Oh and @Elisabeth2021 yes I think temping is great. I really only like it for confirming ovulation actually happened. But I do recommend it yes 👌

After taking the month off under the advice of the hospital, I am now back and feeling hopeful. 7 days until predicted ovulation ♥️ I hope that you all got your BFPs this month xx

@spttc thank you so much! That was my thinking too re dates. 🤞 My temps do stay up. It will be such a relief to see that I am still ovulating even if it is sporadic.

@spttc ok thats very useful; thank you! so I’ve done another opk this morning and it definitely is on the decline
I’m going to start my opks a lot earlier next cycle so I can see the increase and catch the surge - need to get the hang of this!
Ok maybe I’ll start bbt as well then thank you!
