Hi ladies, our March 2021 TTC Bus seems to be full up, would be a shame not to continue. So looking forward to sharing all our BFP's 🤗
I'm sorry if I forgot some people, totally unintentional. Quite a lot on the other thread.

@amyannx AF showed up today. I’m quite relieved as I was starting to get worried that I was going to completely this month. Onto the next ay! Wishing you lots of luck xx

amyannx · 31/03/2021 20:49

@leigha22 sorry to hear af showed up, but at least you can focus on the next cycle now it has shown, good luck xx

Cuddles21 · 31/03/2021 22:42

Hi all, jumping in here again.
I'm using clear blue opks and today was day five of flashing smiley so not sure why peak hasn't happened yet as happened last month after three flashing smileys. Anyway, just trying not to think about it, DTD as much as possible around ov time and hope for the best. I'm on cycle three so isn't long compared to others I know.

Dogmum13 · 31/03/2021 23:35

Thanks for the tag 🙂

Congratulations Stacey!

I'm now 12dpo and these pains are now so bad I can just about stand up and walk 😥 it feels like lightning crotch but only on the left side. Really tender to touch just below left ovary area and feels like stabbing pains. Same stabbing pains down below too 😬

Lollabelle91 · 01/04/2021 07:45

@Confused678866 I've been using mine since about mid 2015 so presumed it would also be accurate. When my cycles started to get shorter it took a few months to accurately predict again.
This will hopefully be baby no.3 actually. I had a MC with our first at 6 weeks and a year later found out about our son. Who is 3 years old now. So would love another. Just having sore bbs, needing to wee alot, and very tired. But AF approaching also drains me for some reason, and causes sore bbs sometimes too. Only thing is needing to go to the loo way more often. Which I guess could be uti too. Hopefully not. Are you using OPKs ? Have you used them before?

Bee44 · 01/04/2021 12:06

AF arrived for me today 😒 so here we are, CD1 for cycle #4. Anyone else onto their 4th cycle this month?

dunkedbiscuit · 01/04/2021 12:38

Thanks @Lollipop25 for the tag 😊 hoping on from the March bus.

I’m currently in fertile week but not using OPKs this month in an attempt to be more chill (who am I kidding?! 😂) this is cycle 3 for us of ttc #2
Hoping this is the month for us all! X

katieelizabeth34 · 01/04/2021 13:44

@Bee44 I’m also on my 4th cycle. AF also arrived today! I’m new to these threads.

dunkedbiscuit · 01/04/2021 16:02

Sorry to hear AF got you @Bee44 and @katieelizabeth34 😕

HRHXO · 01/04/2021 16:03

AF due today but so far- nothing! I know its just late because last time we DTD I was still on the pill but I just want AF to come and go so I can see what my cycle will be like now that I've stopped the pill and I can start actively trying! X

Confused678866 · 01/04/2021 20:07

@Bee44 I'm on my 4th cycle too trying for baby number 2. Not quite sure where I am yet as I decided not to use OPK's this month and just DTD every other day. I'm having short cycles though around 22 days which concerns me a little as I'm worried that this is why it isn't happening for me.
If I have another 22 day cycle this time, based on my last period, AF would be due Tuesday next week I think. Are you tracking ovulation? Do you have any children? Xx

Bee44 · 01/04/2021 20:38

@katieelizabeth34 I was so annoyed when AF arrived this morning, no cramps or anything just crept up and now she's here with a vengeance! How long are your cycles usually?

@Confused678866 no this will be #1 for us 💖 I kinda thought it'd happen quick, makes me wish we had started trying sooner! I tracked ovulation last month using OPKs but I'm not going to bother from now on I don't think, I only really wanted to try them to see if I was correct with matching up ovulation symptoms with ovulation day and I've got it figured now. I came off the pill in January after 13 years and I remember my cycles being short and irregular but, apart from my first 23 day cycle, my others have been 28 days exactly so ovulation falls right in between at 2 weeks after AF. We DTD almost everyday this month in my fertile week and on ovulation day (which we didn't seem to hit during my previous cycles) so I'm pretty gutted that AF arrived! How long is your luteal phase? I think that would be the only issue with shorter cycles from what I understand

Confused678866 · 01/04/2021 20:56

@Bee44 Ahh lovely! I know what you mean, I fell pregnant within the first month of trying with my little boy - he's 2 this month. This time though, it's not as easy! I've stopped the OPK's too. Your cycle sounds good, fingers crossed for you, sounds like you've done everything right!
Well, I think that my Luteal phase is around 9/10 days which is on the short side but I obviously can't be 100% certain on ovulation date. I called my GP and explained and he didn't seem concerned as the Luteal phase isn't actually a proven thing. So I'm just going to see how the next few cycles go! I don't know if my cycles were like this before as I've either been on the pill or pregnant! 🤷🏼‍♀️

Bee44 · 01/04/2021 21:48

@Confused678866 I'm hoping so! At the minute though I feel like we do everything right but then don't end up with the right result 😫 hopefully this month I'll stop obsessing as much but easier said than done! We haven't told anyone that we're TTC, not even parents or close friends so having so many lovely people on MN really helps 💖. That sounds promising, hopefully cycle 4 is a lucky one for us both 🤞🏻 xx

Confused678866 · 01/04/2021 21:54

@Bee44 I know what you mean, you can't help but feel disappointed and upset when you know that you did everything right and then AF arrives! Yes we're the same, people know that we want another baby and I think because of the age of our little boy, people are starting to expect a pregnancy announcement but we haven't actually told anyone that we're trying and that's how we both like to keep it as I just feel it's added pressure so it is nice to be able to come on here and chat so openly about it all.
Yes I hope so, it's still in the back of my mind about my cycles being short but because I have already had a baby, it does help me feel a bit better.. baby number 2 just may take a while! Fingers crossed for us both 🤞🏻🤞🏻 xx

KM11 · 01/04/2021 22:12

Hey ladies, jumping on from the march bus. Been very quiet lately, trying to keep my mind off the tww and stress less. Not really worked 😂 I'm 8/9 dpo and if my cycle is the same as the last 2 AF will be due Saturday. Used opks this month and got a definite peak on CD 15 so that's a definite positive, dtd on the 4 days running up to ov but not on the actual day (1st day back at work and was shattered!). A little worried my LP isn't long enough, no obvious AF symptoms yet (slightly sore boobs but not as sore as usual) & I normally spot a few days before. Suppose my cycle could be slightly longer this time? Anyone had a BFP with a short LP (10 days)? I'm cycle #3 ttc #1 and I'm 35 🙄

How's everyone else getting on? Baby dust to all 💕

Confused678866 · 01/04/2021 22:26

@KM11 Hey. I have a fairly short cycle (usually 22/23 days) and I think my Luteal phase is around 10 days too, it has been 9.
I'm 32, TTC baby number 2. My little boy was conceived in the first month of trying and coming off the pill (was 29 I conceived) and so I have no idea how long my cycle has been this short for 🤷🏼‍♀️
If it was this short back then, then I'm proof that it isn't a problem... but I've either been on the pill or pregnant so I really don't know what a normal cycle is for me. I came off the pill last September and we started trying in January. Little boy is 2 this month. Xx

katieelizabeth34 · 01/04/2021 22:29

@Bee44 yes me too. Especially as I had some spotting 6dpo which I thought was implantation bleeding. Have no idea what that was now! Since coming off the pill in Oct the first two cycles were 37 days but since ttc they seem to be between 28 and 33 days. It makes figuring out my ovulation day tricky. I tried opk last month but didn’t get a peak it just got very close. How about you?

KM11 · 02/04/2021 00:06

@Confused678866 thanks for the reply. I was really pleased because I'd used opks for the first time this month so knew I'd actually ovulated (as I'd started to think I wasn't) but then the panic kicked in as it was so late in my cycle. I came off the pill end of October and started trying 1st January but my cycle was still a bit all over the place (had a 16 day cycle late December, then a 22 in January then the next two were 25 so seemed to have settled down). I'm CD 25 now, boobs are getting bit sore but no spotting yet which I have had the last 3 cycles. I hate the waiting 🙄 but what can you to 😂 its hard to know what normal is when you've been on birth control. Got my fingers crossed for you xx

Twochews78 · 02/04/2021 05:19

Hi @KM11, I used ovulation sticks but didn’t get a positive. My cycle was longer last month, I was taking pregnancare and then I started reading that they had messed with their cycles. We dtd around about when I thought I would ovulate but I’m still unsure of when that is. For the last couple of days I’ve been feeling nauseous, sore boobs, I’ve got thrush, insomnia and I’ve just woken up in the middle of the night to go for a pee. I’m not even sure when af is due. I’m going to take a test next week based on my cycle being 28 days. Just hope it’s not all in my head! Ha. This is my first cycle of TTC #3 so would be extremely lucky!

Confused678866 · 02/04/2021 06:44

@KM11 Oh it sounds like your cycles are settling down now which is good!
Haha the wait is difficult, I'm finding it a little easier though this month as I didn't track anything so I don't really know where I am in my cycle so it just feels like the wait isn't as long!
How many DPO are you now? Xx

amyannx · 02/04/2021 08:33

Does anyone know if the easy home hcg test are as sensitive as the FRER? I'm going to test tomorrow as will be 8dpo x

TigerDaisy · 02/04/2021 09:27

Hi all, can I jump on too? We got tired of waiting for the May bus to get here so decided to start a bit earlier Smile ttc #1 so all very exciting and no idea how this is going to go! I’ve been temping since October to get an idea of my cycles, and started using OPKs a couple of months ago to get a better picture...got a peak reading on the ops yesterday, and my temp jumped 0.4 degrees today, so I’m about to enter my first ever TWW...I’m going to be a total symptom spotter too, I know it - every twinge I’ll be convincing myself is a sign...those not on the first go around - how do you keep from driving yourself mad in the TWW? Good luck to everyone else! Smile

KM11 · 02/04/2021 10:50

@Twochews78 good luck 🤞🤞
@Confused678866 I'm 8/9 dpo. Did a test this morning and BFN, gutted but I know it's super early so I'll leave it few days and if AF doesn't show I'll test again.

Have a fab Easter weekend everyone (I'll be eating lots of chocolate 🤣) xx

Confused678866 · 02/04/2021 11:19

@KM11 Yes it's still very early so don't count yourself out yet!!
Haha I will also be eating lots of chocolate, my little one has far too much so I think I'll have to help him out 😆 xx
