Hi ladies, our March 2021 TTC Bus seems to be full up, would be a shame not to continue. So looking forward to sharing all our BFP's 🤗

How is every doing? I'm now on cycle number 5, just finished AF and will start DTD. Last month I didn't bother with OPK's, I'm undecided whether to use them this month.. I felt less stressed when I wasn't using them but I don't know if I should use them again this month considering I didn't get my BFP after trying to take the more relaxed approach. I know I'm only on cycle number 5 but I can't help to feel more and more deflated as the months roll by and AF makes her ugly appearance.. I feel like it isn't going to happen?

I don't know whether to DTD every other day throughout the month (🥴) or use OPK's and just try more so around fertile window/ovulation... how does everyone else approach it?

I'm just having a bit of a 'meh' day I think.. partner is shocked it didn't happen quickly like last time so I always feel like there's double the disappointment when AF arrives and it's another unsuccessful month!

@Confused678866 I'm not sure either me or DH have the energy for DTD that much for the whole month! We concentrate on getting lots of baby dancing in during FW then the rest of the month aim for at least once every 4/5 days. Not sure if that's enough or not

@TigerDaisy aww I bet you can't wait to test, the temp sounds like a promising sign definitely!

@dunkedbiscuit I do have fairly short cycles so it wouldn't be too much.. but it's still a lot when I have a nearly 2 year old draining the life out of me on a daily basis as well as everything else with work and a house. I'm just feeling sorry for myself today I think 👀😤🙈

@Confused678866 we dtd maybe 3 times a week but try more often in the second week of my cycle. But I don't use opks, not really sure how they work.

Hi @Confused678866, sorry you're feeling meh, it's totally understandable though, it's a tough process as we all know :(

I'm just going into cycle 3 so a little behind you, but I know what you mean re. opks. The first month I didn't use them as thought hopefully it would happen quickly. Did the second cycle and actually think I will again this time. Made me feel quite positive being (almost) sure when I ovulated so felt like I was doing something to help the process.

Every second day around the fertile window is what I did too, so will probably stick to that and up it day before, of and after ovulation, just in case x

@Sam8582 Yeah just one of those days I think. My toddler is nearly 2, and going through some horrendous tantrums at the moment so I'm just drained! Also, didn't realise I'd be on cycle number 5 without even a sniff of a BFP.
I think I may start my clear blue OPK's again as I agree with you, it's nice to know when you've ovulated!

@Confused678866 I can very much relate to the exhaustion of running around after a 2 yr old. And my word, the tantrums!

I think DH thought I was trying to kill him in my last fw! I had positive opk on Sat - Wed then peak on Thurs and Fri and we DTD 6 out of the 8 days so think that was what got me my bfp. We hadn't done it that much in previous cycles.

@dunkedbiscuit It's hard work isn't it 😑 he's 2 on the 26th but these terrible twos have been around far too long already!

This will be my first so I expected it would take a little while, especially being 38 as well but fingers crossed, you never know!

Morning all! So sorry I've been a little bit MIA from the TTC bus (think I last posted on the March bus) but decided to take a little bit of a break. Hope you are all doing well?

I've had the shock of my life and finally got my BFP this week! 😀😀😀😀 I think I've been in denial but took a digital test this morning and it's come back positive!! I just wanted to share as I've been trying for a while for my first baby and started chatting with you lovely ladies on the TTC bus from October last year. Thank you SO SO much to all the support you guys provide ❤ It's not been an easy journey for me emotionally so I am just so thrilled that it's finally happening!!
