Sorry to hear about your MC :( I’m sending positive vibes to you. I know it’s hard but try not to think like that as it can make you feel worse. I know I definitely would think like that too though!

My Flo app has updated and now said I ovulated on Saturday CD 12. I had CM but partner was too tired that day. We DD CD9, 11 and 13 so I hope this was enough :s

@Willow1982 I’ve had peak ov 5-7 days after bleeding stops. Normally CD10-12 rather than 14 which worries me

@TigerDaisy I think it's progressed to a proper period, bit more red then back to brown. Not as heavy as usual but I'm pretty sure it is. On to the next I go! Don't count yourself out just yet, I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you for Thursday :)

Hi all. I'm currently on the agonising wait or test phase. Today is CD28, last month I had a 27 day cycle and the month before was 28 days. My first cycle after coming off BC was 30 days. I'm torn between waiting to the wknd or testing. If I test tonight and its a BFN I'll be so disappointed but the longer that goes on, the more my hopes build so I don't know what to do!! I'm hoping I can wait till the wknd but not sure my patience will hold out that long 😣

@Willow1982 I usually ovulate cd 9 or 10, but my cycle has been 23-25 days for the last few years (ever since stopping the pill...was always 28 exact before the pill...).

@Sam8582 aw sorry hun - on the bright side you get the fun part of the new cycle to look forward too sending babydust your way for the new cycle!

I think I ovulated cd13 this time. My peak was CD12. In jan was more like cd15/16. From what I've read/seen on here I don't think what day you ovulate really matters and it can be different each month, it's the length of your luteal phase which I think should always be the same that's important, ie your luteul phase is long enough so if it's fertilised it has time to implant (?) so my cycle is I think 27-29 days but LP usually 13/14 days so I'll probably have a shorter cycle this month cause I ovulated a bit earlier. Does that make sense, I think that's right.

@Cuddles21 if you're not sure if you're late if you're going to test I'd do in morning with FMU. Well done for holding out this long don't think I could 😂

Thanks @justwant2beamum - I might try with FMU. Its funny cos I'm going to the loo more often just to check if AF has arrived cos I really don't want to see her 😆😆

@justwant2beamum interesting, yeah I totally get what your saying, so we want the time from now until expected AF to be about 14 days each month is that right? You learn so
much on here!

Hi all xx ive been following the March and now this April thread and i can see your all a supportive group x ive been ttc since January - i have PCOS and im 38 - i thought i was happy with my choice of not having kids but as i approached my 38th birthday i felt a shift in my emotions- im just not sure where to go next - my age - my PCOS - its been 59 days since my last period - my periods are so irregular there is no way i can track - do i just try and see if it happens? Should i see my doctor? Is there anything i can be taking to help? Thank you xx

Hi @Jadeypipsqueek - welcome! My sister has PCOS so I know it can be a bit of a nightmare. She used to temp, because it actually did highlight when she managed to properly ovulate naturally (she has two gorgeous kids now!), so I’d say it’s worth a try even though it may take some time to see a pattern. And since you have an identified medical issue that impacts fertility I’d suggest talking to your gp sooner rather than later, as waiting lists (especially post covid) probably aren’t pretty so it’s worth making enquiries - you may find your age works in your favour too, as if you have a sympathetic gp they may consider referring your a bit sooner than standard perhaps? I know when I spoke to my gp about the family history of PCOS (my mum also had it) she said she’d consider an early referral if I showed signs of it being an issue...

@justwant2beamum I know how you feel after my 2 chemicals I occasionally think I should be this many weeks. It's frustrating

Hi all,
This is cycle 7 for us TTC number 1.
Currently on day 27 of cycle, during the last 5 cycles 4 have been 28 day apart from February which was a 30 day cycle.
So far this cycle I have no PMS symptoms. Usually by now I’d have had sore boobs and cramps.

Sorry I've no help to offer on the PCOS @Jadeypipsqueek. I was at the gp before Christmas and had said we were going to ttc and she suggested I start folic acid as soon as rather than wait until getting pregnant so I did so that would be my bit of advice 😊 baby dust to you x

Good luck if you test @Cuddles21 - keep us updated! I remember I kept going to toilet to check for af cause I always felt like she'd started but I was just wetter which I believe is a symptom! 🤞🏻
Thanks @MushroomQueen yeah I was nearly 10 weeks till my mc was picked up so had had appointments, seen a heartbeat, had a date for 12 week scan so had in my head when we'd be announcing, had worked out dates for gender scan etc. Literally the most heartbreaking thing in the world. Praying for BFPs for us all 🤞🏻✨

So sorry for your mc @justwant2beamum - sometimes life can be so unfair but wishing you all the baby dust in the world for the coming months 💗

Hi @Laura36TTC ooh that all sounds promising then with no usual pms symptoms, fingers crossed. When do you think you'll test?

@Sam8582 I think I’ll wait until Friday. That way if I have been lucky this month it should pick up on the test.
I have tested on the morning of day 28 before and find it soul destroying to see a negative result 😢

@Sam8582 another bfn this morning, but my temp is normally barely above my cover line by today, and this month it’s still high... (0.1 degree drop, but it wiggles by that much daily anyways!)...I just wish Friday would get here so I know one way or the other!

@TigerDaisy that sounds so frustrating! Here's hoping for late implementation that will give you a BFP for the weekend. How many dpo will you be by Friday?

Thanks @dunkedbiscuit - Friday will either be 15dpo or CD1...know which I’d prefer but either way wish it would hurry up and get here now you’re waiting on Saturday aren’t you? Have you tested at all yet?
