Clear blue OPK. When do you get a static smiley?

Hi guys, we're on month 7 of TTC. I started using clear blue opks last month and got 4 days of flashing smiley, then static. We DTD on day 1 &2 of flashing then the day of static but then DH works away so couldn't do it again

This month I've had 5 days of flashing, DH working away and back tomorrow for one night, then away for the rest of the week. Hopefully static tomorrow but who knows? Might be a write off this month.

I naively thought the static smiley would be the same each month? So I thought I would have 4 flashing then static.

What are your experiences of clear blue opks? Did you get static smileys on different days each month? Did it help when you were TTC?

@Kipkay35 hello! I'm on my second month of using these and I had the same thoughts. Last cycle I had 6 days of flashing before static on the afternoon of the 6th day.

This month I had 8 days of flashing and had a static yesterday afternoon 👍

They're expensive, especially as after a few too many days of flashing, I test twice a day and use more sticks than needed.

Fingers crossed you'll get your static! I'm not entirely sure I fully trust the product, but I'm now in the 2WW and we'll see!

@Kipkay35 yes it can be different days in different cycles. I've used the clearblue digital sticks twice and I had flashing smileys for 12 days in one cycle and 10 flashing days in this cycle before I got a static on the day after. My static was a different day each cycle.

Ok I got a static this morning & DH away now for 5 days . This static was after 7 days of flashing. Last month was 4 days of flashing. It's very interesting to use the OPKs and see how different each cycle is! (For me anyway)
