Hi, I asked a different question about OPK test pictures on the app, but thought I would ask a separate one for others who may be able to answer also..

how do you know your OPK test is positive?? Is it when the test line is as dark as the control line? What is your interpretation when its lighter than the control line but not 'faint' so in the middle or 'medium'.. how do you know what is classed as positive?

TIA

I think most people say the test line has to be as dark as the control line. However I have had almost as dark as but not fully as dark when my ovulation has been confirmed with a clear blue test and smiley face the same day.
It may depend on what time of day you test and how concentrated your urine may be at that time.

I spent so much time when I first starting using OPKs trying to work out wether they are positive or not. When they are positive you will deffo be able to tell. Sometimes mine are almost as dark as the control line for a couple of days before ovulation but then they get darker and you can tell it's pos. I always confirm with a clear blue digital one and get the static smiley when the are really dark but not when there in the middle. I've put a pic of when it's dark ish and then one that is pos x
