Hi ladies does anyone know much about cycle day 21 test outcome? I have an irregular cycle and my progesterone level was 40 on day 18 my equivalent of day 21? Any idea on if this is good or bad?

Hiya.
I think this is good. Mine was 46.5 on day 20 last month, I was told they look for a level of 30. And even those with a level of 25 have been accepted although a bit low I think. There will be people on here who know far more than me but I think 40 is really good.

Ah thanks @Lovebug06 I spot a lot leading up so I thought mine would be poor but I’ve been taking Vit C and Complex B to help so maybe that’s helped in the last month. So you’re having the joys of cycle tests too, is your partner booked in? Mine isn’t till May

@Gamechanger2019 I had no idea what it was meant to be either I had to ask on here too. They should explain it a bit better shouldn't they? Its such a relief to know its okay but then I'm like why is it not happening?
Yes my dh is going for his test. He already has children, and he did one of those home versions(not sure if they are reliable though) and it came back good, so I doubt it's him.
The doctors tried to tell me no further action but I realise from on here they have fobbed me off and should be referring me anyway because of the amount of time, well I think it's after the men have had their tests?
I'm glad you got good results!

I had this test on Monday which was 7 days after I ovulated (CD29 for me!) and my result was 51.

My doctor said anything over 15 means you probably ovulated, but they like to see it over 30 in order to be high enough to sustain a pregnancy. So sounds like yours was a good result!

@heybabes fab result for you! 🤞🏼 you get some progress this month!

@Lovebug06 ah I know they will try to fob you off and it’s so slow. Sometimes it’s like getting blood out of stone isn’t it, but fingers crossed for us both!

I gather you two are over 12 months? I am due AF very soon and I just get this sense of dread now. Because I know how bad I'm going to feel. I have a bit of hope but I can't let myself too much as it makes it even worse. I have lost than major excitement you have the first few goes. Do you understand this at all? It's made me feel so bad in myself.

Gamechanger2019 · 26/03/2021 20:04

@Lovebug06 ah totally, I’m so over it. It’s like just get me impregnated now 🙈 I’ve had one positive so far, but ended in MC @ 7 weeks. Have you had any luck?

@Gamechanger2019 I'm really sorry to hear thatFlowers . No I've not had a hint of a bfp, but then my tests obviously came back okay, as I'd been worried so I feel a bit better.
Sometimes I feel like giving up but I just want a baby too much. Just hard when people have got pregnant and had babies in the time we have been trying!

Gamechanger2019 · 26/03/2021 20:39

@Lovebug06 it will happen for us all, sadly clearly it just takes a little more effort for us xxx

@Gamechanger2019 and it'll be amazing when we get there. Good luck, sending lots of baby dust your way
