TTC and exercise - this is possibly a ridiculous question!

If I am TTC and exercising is it unwise to go and exercise straight after having sex?! Already have 2DCs so fitting in time for either activity is hard! Kids overslept this morning and DH had day off so after we both got out of bed I set off down to the gym. Would this stop things from 'happening' if I am jigging around on the cross trainer straight afterwards?!
Told you it was a stupid question.

Yes you should keep your legs up behind your shoulders for an hour at least.

Sorry for the flippant reply - but actually I think they've shown that gravity does help the situation, so try to lie still for at least a few minutes afterwards!

Good luck!

They do say try and stay lying down for 20-30 minutes afterwards, to give the sperm a chance to swim up past the cervix, but once they're in, they're in and a bit of jiggling shouldn't dislodge them - I wouldn't bungee jump though.

However - I'm sure plenty of ladies on here have got PG after getting up straight after sex and going to the loo.

Thanks . Will try to keep still for a little while!
