HELP! 1 positive then 4 negative tests

Hello everyone, I was wondering whether anyone has had any experiences of getting a false positive?
So I had my first pee at 2:30PM (after 3 cups of tea) and had a positive straight away on a cheap test (see photo - it’s a bit blurry and excuse my leg lol)
Did a clear blue digital and another cheap test an hour later (had a dribble of pee), negative.

Then waited until about 8PM tonight and tried a clear blue sensitive, and another cheap test, again negative.

Does anyone know what is going on - is it possible for the test to be a false positive? I don’t want to get my hopes up 😔

That is a positive test - There's a clear line with colour!
Do you know how many days post ovulation you are?
I would try again with your fmu! Also clear blue aren't always the most sensitive. If you have a free I would recommend trying with that :)

I don’t do OPK’s as I think it would make me obsessive, but the Flo app predicts I’d be about 14DPO. However I took another test this morning (exactly the same cheapo test) and no second line at all, so I am so disappointed as I don’t know what’s going on 😔
My period is due today, I think if it doesn’t come by Monday I’ll ask the Doctors to help with further tests.
This is more disappointing than getting a negative!

Thank you @november90 for replying, it means a lot as I don’t have anyone to talk to except my husband and he is very negative at the moment and doesn’t want to get his hopes up.

For best results, test with your first urine when you wake up - the test will be clearer then than later on in the day when your urine is diluted as you have had something to drink. I'm sure the later tests were only showing negative as the hormone concentrations were diluted - you should see your positive in the morning x

Test - once - with your first morning urine. If you are due your period, and are pregnant, you will almost certainly get an accurate positive result.

If you get a negative result, but don't get your period, test again 2 days later.

No need for multiple tests late in the afternoon. I absolutely get that people are excited / nervous, but this early, multiple testing (not you OP) that I see here baffles me.

How have you hit on OP?
It could be that you have ovulated late hence the faint/inconsistent tests, it may just be too early! Hope you're doing ok, ttc can be SO overwhelmingly stressful ❤️❤️❤️

So the one I did the following morning with FMU was a BFN. I also tried in the afternoon simply because that was when I had my BFP last time. I thought I saw another faint line but I don’t know 🙈 I’ll attach a photo of all the cheap tests I’ve done. The clear blue and first response both said no 😩
AF was due yesterday or today, so I think if I don’t get it by Monday then I’ll head to the Doctors and ask them if they can confirm if I’m having a Chemical Pregnancy or not.

I’ve sent a photo of the tests in the order that I’ve done them. The BFP being the first.
