Hey all. New here! Smile

Just wondered if anyone had used Evra Patch before, and how long it took for your AF to return after stopping?

Searched previous threads, but doesn’t seem to be all that popular as a form of contraception, so unable to find the answers I’m looking for! Lots of threads about the pill, but nothing for the patch!

Started it about 9 years ago, and waited until end of the pack to come off it. So took off patch 3, and got my usual week free withdrawal period like normal. Usually I’m like clockwork with a 28 day cycle when on it without fail, but thought as I took it off at the end of a pack and not halfway through, I would see AF as normal. I’m now on CD39 so only 11 days late, and I know the pill and other forms on contraception says it can take 3 months for things to settle down, but just wondered about anyone’s experiences with EVRA in particular.

The weekend before I was thinking I would come on on the 15th, I experienced cramping quite bad from the 11th, and I thought this would be a sure sign she would arrive on the Monday. But she never showed! Now over the last week the cramps have subsided and aren’t there anymore, but instead they’ve been swapped out for super sore nipples! I never got this when on the patch and my breasts themselves are fine, just very sensitive nips!

Any help appreciated. Is it worth just DTD and trying to use OPK’s to determine if I’m ovulating so we can kind of plan when is the best time to TTC even without my period, or is it a waste of time without it!
