Bing Bing the BFP bus is back!

Last bus we got some great results and now it’s a REAL Easter 🐣hunt so let’s make like 🐰s and jump on the 🍆

Oh but we’ve packed up the 🥪🌭🌮Cos we can do that soon! A picnic, and in our sandwiches we’ve got some weird things...little 🍆conchions, pickles, crisps, KETCHUP?? Say what?? Whatever you want in your bread bring it to the bus!

March and April we’ve got a lot of exciting times ahead with people going for Clomid & IVF as well as a lot of straight up sex for the “normal” TTC gang so let’s get shagging & FIND THOSE 🐣🌈.

Hop on the bus, give us your best embarrassing story and grab a ticket, we are TTC in very weird ways and usually talking about most other things 🍞🥨🥞🍔

And we are still helping each other get fitter, more positive through sharing small changes we are making in our lives and trying to inspire & support each other with these too...as well as of course being there for each other during the sad times.

And if you see mention of my blog then blame these guys they made me do it...#shamelessplug

@Minster2012 I feel you I felt like I had to put my whole hand up there to and when there is blood involved to it’s just not good.

@paintfairy sorry I’m not sure with regards to your bleeding but I’ll share my cup story:
So I was abroad and thought it would be a really good time to utilise a cup so the period starts and after a lot of fiddling I safely get it up there and put my bikini on and feel like a winner.
We go swimming have a great time then go back to the room to get showered and sorted and at the time I hadn’t been with my OH that long.
So I go in the bathroom like right it’s time to get the cup out for a shower and can I get it out of there and the more I fiddle the more stuck it feels. And because I’m messing with it the bathroom is starting to look smeared in red to.
My OH then knocks on the door like is everything alright in there and I’m panicking but try to act calm like yeah everything is fine.
He was like are you sure because you keep talking to yourself about being stuck and I was like oh just ignore me 🙈
Well I did eventually get it out but jeez the bathroom and me were rather traumatised by it all.

@2alreadywantanother sorry to hear you had a bad day yesterday...it's never easy coming up to what should have been a due date...your always thinking wow I should be giving birth any day and would have this great big belly...just seems so unfair doesn't it. Hope you are feeling a bit better 😘

@Somatronic I have to disagree with @paintfairy ...I've grown up with collies and I currently have my own who is 4 and she is absolutely adorable...she's such a lovely dog I couldn't have wished for anything better, so loving and caring, has such a character too...I would recommend collies in a heartbeat every one we have had have been amazing...yes they love the stimulation but not one of ours have ever had behaviour problems and they haven't been working dogs and we have been a working family...I guess it's how you train them as a puppy but they are so intelligent it doesn't take much and if you get them in to a routine they are happy to laze around lol.

Ltay2 · 30/03/2021 08:24

Just checking in, congratulations @Florence13 ❤️

Good morning from me and a (finally) sleepy baba. He's still unsettled with wind but is drinking a good amount and got weighed yesterday so we know he's putting on weight. He's now 2 weeks old and weighing 4lb 12oz so just 2oz to go until back at birth weight. His cord came off yesterday too so we can finally have a bath and wash the stinky belly button 🙌🏼

@ltay2 hes just adorable 🥰 congratulations.

Well my RHR hasnt spiked and is leveling out and my bbt had a slight drop. I'd assume af will be here by the wkend 😢

Kirky658 · 30/03/2021 08:33

@ltay2 glad to hear little man is doing better, he's absolutely beautiful ❤️

amy2503 · 30/03/2021 08:33

@paintfairy luckily she's not right next door. She took in a couple of parcels when we were moving because me and my partner both work (TA and mental health nurse) and was so funny about it 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️ since then some days she's so nice and others she blanks me. So weird! xx

Florence13 · 30/03/2021 08:35

@Ltay2 aww thank you and look at your little man he is absolutely gorgeous!! So glad he is doing well, lovely to hear from you.

paintfairy · 30/03/2021 08:40

@Juno231 no, they just tried the progesterone last cycle to see if it worked. So they'll use it with IUI. I took my bbt this morning and 36.56, so I would say I've ovulated but its either a very slow rise or it happened not long ago. I tend to sit at 36.33 ish prior. Google says if it smells or you get a fever then to worry. So for now I'll try not to, but I'll contact the clinic if it goes on past today. But then it could just be me anyway! 🙄 I'm not sure my body is ever going to produce anything useful is all I can say.
@Ltay2 awww he's beautiful! How are you getting on? Is he sleeping much?
@Florence13 oh god. Well it ended better than I thought when you mentioned bikini in the story! 🤣 I'm not sure it was a great time to try it. But I know how panicked you get when things get stuck or whatever so I bet that was a bit of a moment! Not the ideal place for something to be stuck at all! I've never used one and it would worry me i couldn't get it out. Plus surely if you don't do it right, it goes everywhere? 🙈

Florence13 · 30/03/2021 08:48

@paintfairy it really did go everywhere when I was trying to get it out 😂 think it’s a practice thing though. But yes thinking it was stuck scared the life out of me.

Ltay2 · 30/03/2021 09:01

@paintfairy He's really struggling with trapped wind at the moment so we aren't getting a good night sleep. OH is still off work until Friday so we are taking it in turns to sleep, I sleep from 9pm-3am and he covers baby duty and then he sleeps from 3am-9/10am so we are having good blocks of sleep but haven't slept in bed together in a week and baby hasn't slept anywhere other than his pram 🙈 all going to change when I'm on my own all day though.

Katao · 30/03/2021 09:03

Thanks @Florence13 and 🙈 you murder scene in the bathroom story! I can't even use tampons never mind a cup.
@paintfairy hope you are ok, must be unnerving. Do get checked out for peace of mind if you have more bleeding.

@Ltay2 glad things seem to be settling for you and your little boy. Great that he is gaining. He looks very alert. And edible! 🥰

Minster2012 · 30/03/2021 09:03

@paintfairy has the bleeding stopped?! I'd speak to the clinic maybe if I were you? But hopefully good on the ovulation

@Florence13 that's brilliant!! And yes I feel it would be the same for me, I'm not going there with blood 😂🤔I have said before my vag is like a cave 🤪

@Ltay2 he's absolutely gorgeous! Hope you are doing ok too

@2alreadywantanother sorry you think AF is on the way & you've been feeling down it's horrible

@Kirky658 I take a lot of happy pills 🤪

@amy2503 just keep going to the neighbour with all the smiles

paintfairy · 30/03/2021 09:10

@Ltay2 Jesus. That doesn't sound fun! I do find it odd that men only get 2 weeks off. Like you've sorted things by then?! I hope the wind issue settles down soon.
@Florence13 yeah I'd be crying in the bathroom. 🤣 The thought of a&e for it.
@amy2503 people are odd. My next door neighbour i hate. But they blanked us when we moved in. We had house issues too (attached) that needed work and so I thought it can't have this. So I knocked and introduced myself. To be fair he was always friendlier than her. I sent them a Christmas card the first year (never got one back). Always said hello. He has now left her and the kids and a twat moved in. They are both now idiots. The most unreasonable human beings I've ever come across. I hope no one ever leaves my parcels there. 🤣 I've taken them in for them before mind (prior to them being extra twatty) but now i would refuse.

Franklydear · 30/03/2021 09:18

@Ltay2 lovely to see pictures of him, he's gorgeous
On my way to work late, stopped with a school mum friend, her little boy needs assessing for the spectrum and school is not helping, her gp says he can't do it, mine did, happy to support her, I've been there myself

Ltay2 · 30/03/2021 09:21

@Minster2012 I'm doing well too! My stitches are healing well and not in too much pain anymore. Got my first covid jab this afternoon so expecting to feel crap for a few days 🙈

@paintfairy I know it's not fair on them. He didn't want to take actual paternity leave because of the pay being so little so he's taken 2 weeks holiday instead meaning that he's had 2 weeks and 4 days off altogether including usual days off. Our first week was spent in hospital though which is a shame!

Franklydear · 30/03/2021 09:32

@Ltay2 i had the same first week paternity in hospital and then a few days to stablish routine
Today's happy music the '10s playlist without skipping, despacito anyone?

Franklydear · 30/03/2021 09:40

Katy Perry fireworks and trying very hard not to dance in the bus

Minster2012 · 30/03/2021 09:47

@Ltay2 good I'm really pleased, and rubbish bout OH going back to work, I'd say napping in the pram is a good thing! And see I totally didn't know about the no bathing until the cord comes off until antenatal, who knew eh?!

@paintfairy god so 2 knobs next door now that's rubbish why are people knobs??

@Franklydear sounds like you can offer great support to the other lady, that's fab! And love a bit of Katy Perry, is it sunny?

Vil10 · 30/03/2021 09:54

@2020mission that's literally the same with me, late but BFN! It's been surprisingly refreshing!! I haven't thought about it at all, I haven't worked about my cycles, I haven't been affected by TTC news, honestly it's been nice!! I think because we stopped TTC for a reason that's helped a lot!

Didn't come on at all yesterday, I was enjoying the sun after work!! Hope everyone is okay xx

Haiyaa · 30/03/2021 10:08

@Ltay2 he is so cute! Is he still having formula? Sometimes they struggle with the lactose especially when prem, I used colief when DD had formula and it helped a lot as it breaks down the lactose but turned out she had a dairy allergy so that was a whole other story. That and lots of bicycle legs 💨

paintfairy · 30/03/2021 10:11

@Minster2012 there's a bit this morning but it looks thinner and there's less. It does seem to be on/off.
As for the neighbours- at least the tatty people live in one house. The other side are fine. Our across neighbours are also fine.
@Franklydear God that sounds stressful for her. How come everything is such a battle? She's lucky to have you be able to support her. As for the music- 🎶 despacito makes me think of holidays. 🤣

notyetamumbuttrying · 30/03/2021 10:24

@Ltay2 what a cutie 🥰

amy2503 · 30/03/2021 10:31

@paintfairy it's good to know it's not just me. It set my anxiety off so badly and I'm still recovering from that episode. But I'm getting there now. The weird thing is, she's so hot and cold. The other day she invited me for gin 🤣🤣 other days she blanks me. So weird. x

2020mission · 30/03/2021 10:51

@Vil10 glad you're feeling stress free! I've decided this cycle we are just going to have sex when we want and I'm not tracking ovulation or anything so I can have a break. I don't mind if it doesn't happen this cycle as it would lead to a Hogmanay due date 😅 what a birthday that would be! Fingers crossed for your holidays this summer.

@Ltay2 so cute! Poor soul with the wind but it sounds like you've both got a good rota going. I'm a night owl so I'd be picking the 3am bed time slot 😆

Minster2012 · 30/03/2021 11:20

@paintfairy if phone the clinic if you are worried but should be ok, fingers crossed it stops properly for you

@amy2503 there are many weird folk around! Maybe steer clear to avoid anxiety

@2020mission that sounds like a good idea, bit of chill time and not worrying about it, @Vil10 has enjoyed it 😘

@Ltay2 wind is a tough thing, there's a really good technique for burping which you think is really harsh but new babies are tougher than you think and it's like "stirring the pot", literally pushing down a bit whilst holding his waist and hand upwards to steady the head & doing a figure of 8 motion with him or you can literally do a circle motion like you are stirring first one way for like 6 times then the other way
