Anyone else going to TTC In April?

I'm a Christmas baby myself so I'm hoping I will get my own Christmas baby ❤️

I'm not 100% out this month but likely as we only managed to dtd once in my fertile period! If I am out definitely trying again - although I already have a Boxing Day DD 😂 X

WeCameToDance · 25/03/2021 10:39

I keep thinking about this!
This will be my first month trying for our third and while I think it’s probably not going to happen first month, I’m also thinking wouldn't Gabriel be a nice name for a December baby 😂😂

My son is a January baby and my nephew is a December baby so it could become an expensive few weeks if I get lucky this month.

Still going to try though!

i am!

We’re TTC our first. Originally I thought I wouldn’t want a Christmas baby but now I’m so emotionally invested in wanting a child that I don’t want to get caught up in deciding when it’s birthday would be. I’m cd2 now so due date would work out end of December!

My daughters birthday is Boxing Day and it's never really been a big problem. She has her party a week beforehand and has the excitement of it being her birthday the day after Christmas Day. We always go to see a show or pantomime and there's no joy lost. People always make the effort to wrap her presents in actual birthday wrapping paper rather than Christmas so go for it. Its trickier than you think getting pregnant. I am desperate for a third baby now so I won't be missing out any months in tc. Good luck xx

That’s good to hear! My brother’s birthday is 14th December and it always used to annoy me growing up as we weren’t allowed to put the Christmas tree up before his birthday haha!

It’s only our third cycle TTC. I thought beforehand I would be super relaxed but we had to delay our wedding last year by 6 months and didn’t want to start trying until after the wedding so it feels like we’ve been waiting longer! Plus because we’re newly weds everyone keeps asking if I’m pregnant yet!

TTCat39 · 25/03/2021 12:22

We'll be TTC for the sixth cycle in April. I'm trying not to dwell on the potential birthday, as I don't know anyone who actually gave birth on their due date! My husband was 2 months premature and I was two weeks late. I also have a friend born 3 months premature. However, If we did manage to conceive next cycle and they were born on time, it would likely be the 31st December!

choccrumpet · 25/03/2021 12:51

Im a Christmas baby too and we are still ttc, didn't really stop to think about it. If it's meant to be then it's meant to be!

We are also TTC no. 3 and is the first month trying! :) I keep thinking the same, there is just no way it will happen the first month...but I guess you never know!

I already have two girls, 8 and 5. How about you?
x

FayLivvie · 25/03/2021 13:47

@Feanorous I'm also trying for a third. I have two 8&6. I have been trying properly for 2 months but tracking since November. Good luck ladies 🤞 x

Ahh yay - hi! :) Similar age gap to us...we so thought we were done lol. I'm 38 so not sure if it will happen at all but we said we will give it 6 months or so.

I think I'll invest in a thermometer if its a BFN this month. I had a peak OPK on CD 10 which seemed early. No fertile CM at all but then just now CD13 I notice EWCM! If I'd have been temping I guess I would have known for sure if I ovulated...

I hate this waiting soooooo much its awful! :)

WeCameToDance · 26/03/2021 03:22

Feanorous it’s exciting isn’t it! I can’t wait to get this period done with just so I can get the ball rolling with it! Grin
I have a five and three year old. The eldest was conceived first month but it took four months with the youngest so I’m secretly hoping that I could be pregnant by summer.

Good luck to you all! I’m keeping my 🤞 for all of us!

LemonDrizzle44 · 26/03/2021 08:09

Hi. I'm CD3 of my 9th cycle. I'm a Christmas baby and many family members have their birthday in December or early January so wanted to avoid. Although babies tend to come early in my family. Now 9 months in I'm desperate for it to happen and Sod's law is this month is my month 😂.

Calmyertits · 26/03/2021 08:13

Both of mine had the potential to be xmas babies, due dates were new years day and 18th December. Both prem and ended up being november babies!

monkeyy97 · 26/03/2021 12:38

Sadly I had a chemical in feb so had let my body have a cycle and now I am excited to get trying again! I know we would be very lucky to fall straight away but I have a good feeling for this month 🤞🏻

I’m TTC I really don’t want a Christmas baby but I’ll be happy with a baby. My brother is Christmas baby and we don’t get on so it’s always at the back of my mind.
