Hi everyone, this is my first ever post and I'm sorry it's quite a long one but I'm hoping someone can relate to me or might have an idea what is going on as I'm very worried.
Just for reference, I have PCOS but I have very regular periods- basically every 28th day without fail, if not the evening before or morning after. Although I have never taken an ovulation test but I have signs of ovulation. I always have a lot of discharge when it is due and ovulation bleeding (a sudden amount of red blood with no pain) a couple of days after ovulation. I have been TTC since January and this is my third cycle while trying. The last time I had unprotected sex was my ovulation day which was 5/3.
I had my usual ovulation bleeding on 7/3 then nothing the day after as usual. On the 9/3 however I had bleeding again, then nothing the day after then bleeding again on 11/3. This is extremely unusual for me. I then had very mild spotting (almost bloody discharge-like) pretty much continuously until Saturday 20/3 which is when my period was due. It didn't come. On 21/3 I had nothing for the first time in over a week- clear as day.
Then on Monday 22/3 I started to get very brown bleeding. I was excited, thinking it could be implantation bleeding but it was relatively heavy, not quite period heavy but if I was to wear a tampon for the whole day (not that I would but just for reference) it would probably be full. It was the same yesterday so I took my first ever pregnancy test. It was negative. Today I still had brown bleeding but it was seeming to slowly stop until about lunchtime I suddenly had a big release of red slimy (sorry if tmi) blood out of nowhere!!!!
Now I'm freaking out, what is going on??? Why can't I stop bleeding and why is this happening just as I've started TTC, is there a connection? I'm going to take another pregnancy test in the morning just in case and I've got the day off work on Friday so I'll try to go to the doctors then but has anyone had anything like this before!? I can't seem to find any information online similar to what I'm experiencing.
