I spent ages looking through every post under the sun for early pregnancy symptoms and so I thought I’d add mine after getting my BFP this morning with the hope that it helps others and also gives some reassurance that you don’t have to have glaringly obvious symptoms.
I wasn’t tracking ovulation so dont know the exact day but I was using apps and we BD’d every day from the end of my last AF to the end of my fertility window.
My symptoms straight from ovulation were vivid dreams most involving pregnancy but they were also so weird and so clear! 5 days before I was due (approx 10dpo) I had cramps and backache which is very odd for me. They were severe enough to notice and want a hot water bottle. I am guessing that this was implantation.
From about the same time I had a horrid taste in my mouth that lasted about 5 days, funnily enough it seems to have gone now thank god! From 10dpo until now I’ve also had slight nausea and a very large appetite and bloating which is very unlike me.
I haven’t had any spotting or frequent urination and my boobs look and feel exactly the same. Basically my symptoms have been very discreet to the point that my dear hubby to be said that he would eat his hat if I was pregnant. Obviously my way of telling him was giving him his hat!
I tested on the day my AF was due and got strong positives on a clear blue early detection and on the Tesco’s normal and digital :) x
