Advise please

Hi everyone I've been using period trackers and I'm ment to be due my period 2maro which will be cycle day 30 usually the day before af I have really bad knee pain and brown staining I haven't had any of this
So I tested this morning using a clear and simple strip test and got bfn

Could I still be pregnant I've had creamy cm for over a week
What would cause a negetive this close to af
When should I test again dont want waste money on tests if periods going to come and hate seeing bfn it makes me feel so down weve been trying for 6 months now

Anyone had experiences like this

If you don't want to waste money on tests, then wait til you're late for your period by a week or so. That eradicates much of the 'will I come on, will I not' limbo that ttc does to us and saves you spending on tests. No point ever testing until your period is late in this case

Clear & simple are not very sensitive so maybe retest in a few days if AF has not shown up. Good luck x
