Early pregnancy tests - accurate for you?

Hi - just out of interest how many people have used these and had a positive result before the day their AF was due?

With my DD I tried one 3 days before and it was negative but positive on day AF was due.

I know it is because of rising HCG levels and we are all different etc etc but I am just curious to know what other's experiences are?

I used a boots and a first response on a monday when I thought my period was due the friday after, after having a scan I realise I tested positive five days before I was due!

Hmm - you must have mega fast rising hormones - I think mine simmer slowly building me up into a false sense of security then WHAM the morning sickness starts = green faced barfing emoticon!

I have founmd that testing early causes nothing but confusion and unecessary upset

Incidently mine is no longer plump but now of mammoth Rubenesque proportions bring on the lipo

You think its negative, and then you get upset. You think its positive and then you lose it whereas if you had waited you would have never known the diffrence. Is there a line or isn't there. Its all stressful

PPB do you mean you lose the line or you lose the baby after finding out you are pg?
I actually bought one of those digital pregnant not pregnant ones - but managed to return it blank last month, then miscarried anyway. Tried a predictor today (4 days before AF due) but was negative. It was the predictor that was negative with DD too so I am not taking it as definitive. Will try another on Sunday.

Yeah! Great news! Conratulations Fingers crossed all will be well and in 9 months you will have a beautiful LO to coo over! I need to wait until Sunday to find out, although I have many of the symptoms of pg. I keep thinking I might be imagining it though .

By the way soon you will be less plump in the derriere department and more Rubenesque too - tee hee

Yep - been shopping instead this morning but am sooooo tired. Am seriously thinking of grabbing LO and having a lie down snuggle up watch TV for an hour or so. DH off to see Bill Bailey tonight so early night for me.
How are you feeling? I get to 6 weeks and then get the most horrific morning sickness. I've only got 1 DD (1 yr) but if I am pg at the moment it will be my fourth pg.
