Just catching up ladies - sorry to hear everyone’s having a bit of a rubbish day with it all 😟 it really does seem so unfair. I would have been over half way, due start of august and I keep looking at my tummy thinking “you should be in there.” Thankfully I only have one pregnant friend and we haven’t seen each other for months which as awful as it sounds I’m grateful for!! I don’t think I would be able to cope with going for a walk and doing all the baby talk / nursery chat right now. You girls are doing so well!! Xx

Ralala · 28/03/2021 19:06

I already have a little one so I think people think in some ways a miscarriage isn’t as hard because you already have a child. Also with it being 2 months ago, I have found that expectation as well that I should be over it now. Gahhhhhh! I will be better tomorrow xxx

SuzieDeLaTour · 28/03/2021 19:50

@Ralala same here - ive definitely had a vibe from a few people that I should be grateful for what I've got which of course I am (very much so!) but it doesn’t take away from the yearning or the pain. I’m 2.5 months on now and no one mentions it to me any more, I think people do expect you to bounce back quite quickly unless it’s something they’ve experienced and understand. That’s why it’s so good to have this thread where you can moan and vent without being judged! 😀

No1worrier · 28/03/2021 19:51

My best friend is also pregnant so I know how hard it is too. We had plans our babies would grow up as best friends and we would be on maternity leave together etc. It worked out so perfect but just wasn't to be 💔

SuzieDeLaTour · 28/03/2021 19:51

Ladies who BBT - did you buy a special thermometer or use a standard one? I have a couple at home so I’m tempted to save myself the money! Also do you do under the armpit / tongue?! So many questions 🤷‍♀️

Mellous · 28/03/2021 20:12

@SuzieDeLaTour it has to be one that measures your temperature to two decimal places xx

I use the femometer one I got from Amazon, it's around £10 I'm sure. Under the tongue as soon as I open my eyes in the morning without doing anything else first. Wait until it beeps then record it on fertility friend to chart it x
SuzieDeLaTour · 28/03/2021 21:06

Thanks @Mellous @No1worrier I think I’m going to give it a go from tomorrow. Another thing to add to my list to track! 🤣 x

Hi everyone

I’ve been struggling too with thinking I would have been over 15 weeks now. There is a real feeling of emptiness.

This latest loss has really taken its toll on me. I was hoping to be back at work but I’ve admitted to myself that I’m just not ready so postponed to after Easter. It will mean taking some unpaid leave but I definitely need it.

Hope you’re all taking good care of yourselves x

Hi all, I have an appointment in epau this week but I am still doing hcg tests to see if they are dropping yet. Is it just me or are the last three rising?? Could there be any explanation for this apart from my levels rising? I had completely written off that I could be pregnant in the last couple of days as I had so much cramping so assumed my period was coming early after my ERPC but now seeing this I'm not so sure! 😳 The top test is from this morning, middle one yesterday and bottom one day before

@SuzieDeLaTour @Ralala same here, I'm actually finding this one harder since having my DD ☹️

cupcakesandglitter · 29/03/2021 09:45

@Cienega they all look the same Ish to me, I wouldn't say there's progression personally x

Ralala · 29/03/2021 09:47

@Cienega all look the same to me also. Looks like some left over hcg. It happened to so many of us. I was genuinely surprised how long it can take to get below 5!

Neady1980 · 29/03/2021 13:37

@Cienega all look the same to me also, honestly cant see any progression x

Cienega · 29/03/2021 13:53

OK thank you all. It must just be my eyes. Been taking a test everyday so I'm probably going a bit delirious with all the lines! Probably some wishful thinking! That was the dose of reality I needed thanks for the extra eyes. Just wish all this was over and not dragging out so I can move forward 😔

Cienega · 29/03/2021 13:58

Just so you don't think I'm completely bonkers, this is what I was going off, these are all my tests since my surgery. Bottom to top is oldest to newest, there is a few tests towards the top that seemed to get lighter and then the ones that came after looked darker bur now that I look at it with more realistic eyes I see that they aren't actually all that different and they are getting lighter, just not quick enough. Fingers crossed it will all get sorted at my appointment x

Mellous · 29/03/2021 15:21

I've just been to have my cervical screening to be told by the nurse she can't do it as it's not been 12wks since my mc! argh! it's been 11 so I have to go back next week.

I'm ttc again and due to ovulate this weekend... there's no 'risk' having the smear test during the tww is there?!

Cienega · 29/03/2021 16:13

I'm sorry to hear that @Mellous that's a pain! I once had a colposcopy on the week that I was ovulating and the doctor told me that it wouldn't effect me trying to conceive. That was more invasive than a screening so I would think it would be OK x

SuzieDeLaTour · 29/03/2021 16:26

@Cienega oooh when they’re lined up like that it does look like they’ve been rising slightly. How many weeks post ERPC are you? when did you DTD? X
@Mellous oh that’s such a pain! I’m in exactly the same boat, my smear is due in May so I was going to try and get it done early as we want to try again in April but I’m only 10 weeks post MC. Arrrghhh!! X

justwant2beamum · 29/03/2021 16:30

@Mellous I had a smear in jan around ovulation and that's the month I fell pregnant so don't think it would cause any issues!

Cienega · 29/03/2021 16:34

That's a pain for you too @SuzieDeLaTour 😣
I had my surgery 3wks ago today (8th March) We dtd a couple of times nearly two weeks later (wknd of 20th March) and I had ovulation symptoms then with a peak opk that wknd. X

Ralala · 29/03/2021 19:08

@Cienega sorry, I still don’t see any real
progression. Have you called epu? They will be best to advise xxx

Cienega · 29/03/2021 19:53

Thank you @Ralala. Yes it's probably just me spending too long looking!

Ralala · 29/03/2021 19:58

@Cienega I really hope I am wrong and it is something positive for you xx
