Anovulatory cycle

I was just wondering how you know if you don't ovulate in any given month if you don't do OPKs? My cycles are pretty regular with the odd day variation now and again but sometimes I get ovulation symptoms, other times I don't.

I don't use OPKs as they stress me out and force me to drink less water! But I do monitor my temperature, which is the only way to confirm if you ovulate. OPKs only tell you if you have an LH surge which signals to your body release an egg, but it's not always successful.

I have irregular cycles but thankfully know I ovulate because I have a clear temperature shift every month!

Second taking temperature and charting it.

Thanks for the suggestion. After a year of trying and letting it take over my life I don't want to do BBT charting. I doubt I'd get accurate readings anyway as my DD's sleep is so unreliable.

I was meaning symptoms really. Whether there are any signs that you haven't ovulated. Would you still have a normal looking period at the same time every month if you didn't ovulate?

Yes, you would have no idea that you have or haven't ovulated I'm afraid.

I do understand where you're coming from though. I temped for 16 months and I was obsessed.
