Super Confused

Hi Everyone,

Hope you're all well, I'm super confused at the moment.

I have a 28 day cycle and today is cycle day 29 with no AF or signs of AF (sore/tender breasts, brown/red stain when wiping, intense cramps and back ache for me).

I wasn't ttc but dtd on cycle day 16, I noticed an increase of EWCM 3 days later. Didn't think anything of it until I started feeling cramps, fatigue, headaches, nausea (oh it's bad), heavy breasts (normally tender and sore before AF but nothing so far) and being super hungry and thirsty all the time.

Then I decided to start reading and that's when I figured out about all this information of CM and week by week symptoms pre AF etc. (Surprisingly haven't been taught about this considering I'm a student midwife lol).

AF usually comes a day or at a push two days before Eve app claims it should. All of my cramps have disappeared but last night I had a shooting sensation I'd say in my uterus, sharp definitely sharp. Then today when I wiped there was watery pink/red stain, I was convinced AF is coming but now when I wipe there is nothing.

Going out of my mind as I tested 4 days before AF was due and got a BFN, of course I know that it may be too early to test. Just wondering what people think about this? xx

When is AF due ? Xx if you get a First Response Early Response you can test 6 days before AF due x

It was due today according to the app I use, but it usually comes a day before or sometimes 2 days before the app suggests. My cycles aren't irregular either. I'm kind of nervous to take any more tests, although I wasn't ttc, now I've entered the process of thinking I might be pregnant I would be gutted if I got BFN or AF showing up.

I keep checking and the spotting has definitely stopped 😅.

Defo not too early to test then ! I'd test but make sure you use first morning urine and get a first response early response 😘 xx

Cakelaur · 20/03/2021 19:43

Defo test!!! Excited to see results 🤞🏻🤞🏻

SharnaJade95 · 20/03/2021 20:04

Okay @Genevive123 @Cakelaur I'm going to see if I get any more spotting and if it's really the start of AF. If nothing in the next two days I'll deffo test and update you xx

SharnaJade95 · 20/03/2021 23:59

@purplebiscuits oh my gosh, I'm so nervous...I had no intention of having a baby yet but now I really really want to get a BFP and a happy healthy baby at the end of it. I'll keep you updated xx

@SharnaJade95 aghhhh good luck lovely please update us as soon as you've done it ?? I'm a bit invested now 🤣

Genevive123 · 21/03/2021 10:01

Try and get a First Response Early Response if you can!! Tells you up to 6 days earlier, clear blue aren't very sensitive x

Horehound · 21/03/2021 10:04

I agree get an early response test. After sex implantation takes 6-12 days. So it may even be too early to show a positive. Good luck

SharnaJade95 · 21/03/2021 10:06

@Genevive123 oh thank you for letting me know, I'll get those ones instead. Feeling very nauseous at the moment, I'll deffo be updating xx

@SharnaJade95 no worries hun! Keep refreshing my MN to see if you've posted a pic 🙈🙈 x

SharnaJade95 · 21/03/2021 12:58

@Horehound @Genevive123 I've taken a test and got a BFN, it wasn't my first urine so I'm going to do a test tomorrow morning. I'd drank a lot of water prior and the info on the back states 'don't drink lots of liquid before testing' 😅.

They also didn't have any fast response, so I did it with a cheap Freedom twin pack that has 25mlU/ml sensitivity.

I have another twin pack of Tesco Health which has 25mIU/ml sensitivity, going to give this on a try tomorrow morning.
