Blazing positive OPK CD30

So my cycle is normally about 35 days long. Had one long cycle of 80 days when I first came off the pill but my periods have been coming round about when they’re meant to.

I took Soy Iso for the first time at the start of this cycle and according to Premom I ovulated on Cd 14/15.

I’m now two days late and for whatever reason just decided to dip an OPK, it was blazing positive right away which has never happened before, it normally needs to settle and the pink dye to go away first. This showed up within seconds.

I’m just wondering if this means I’ve ovulated really late or (like a recent poster who has blazing positives after ovulation) I could be pregnant? I don’t take pregnancy tests because I don’t want to get my hopes up but just wondering what people think?

TIA

Honestly none of us will know, you just need to take a pregnancy test to find out.

It can be either scenario.

As @Juno231 said - no one can tell you what it means for definite but I'd be testing if I were you 🤞🏻 I sadly MC but I got my BFP after a random LH strip dip urge...blazing like yours...
Let us know! ✨

Thank you for your replies.

@mrswilso I’m sorry for your loss 😞

I normally don’t start my period until round about day 35, so I’ll wait till that passes and then take the leap 🙈

So I had another blazing positive last night after I posted this and another this morning so I just took a wee cheap pregnancy test to prove to myself that I’m just ovulating really really late....

This is a faint positive isn’t it?🙈

That's not faint, that's a def positive and I have to laugh because this is how I found out I was expecting both times 😂 random ovulation test with a strong positive too late in the month to make sense and then.... babies! Congratulation x

@Nouveau2021 How exciting!! That looks like more than a faint positive to me!! Congratulations 🥳 🎉

Thank you ladies, I wasn’t going to get ahead of myself but I was in Tesco and I just couldn’t help it...

I did a due date calculation and it appears from my last period date that I would be due on my partners birthday 🥳 he’s on his way home from working away so he’ll have a little surprise to come in to 😊

Not faint at all. Congratulations

halfwaythrough2 · 21/03/2021 22:05

Aww congrats! This gave it away for me both times As well!

Nouveau2021 · 22/03/2021 19:59

@PurBal thank you 😊

@halfwaythrough2 thank you 😊 I still can’t believe it. I’ve done some calculations and it seems I ovulated at my normal time so these tests were taken at 10/11dpo, 4/5 days before my period should have started. Freaking out because the lines seem quite strong and I read a few threads about that possibly indicating twins 🙈😂

I also had really strong tests and got my first line at 9po couldn't believe my eyes!

Wasn't twins though but she's a right feisty baby and is kicking all the time and has been moving since 14 weeks! So maybe something to do with genetics xx

Nouveau2021 · 24/03/2021 21:50

@halfwaythrough2 aw that’s amazing, I’m quite feisty myself so a sassy child won’t be a shock 😂

I’ve had a wee bit of spotting today but my app says that it can be expected as I should have been due my period yesterday/today. I’m trying not to Google and freak out 🙈
