Confused if I'm doing it right?

Me and DH and TTC.

Iv recently started using the ovulation strips every morning. I finished my periods on the 11th March so started taking strips the day after.

What I'm confused about is the numbers on the side of the strips. I thought as the days go on an I'm getting closer to my ovulation day aren't the numbers meant to go higher ? At the moment it's very low. Iv never used these before so wanted some advice please. Am I supposed to do them more than once a day?

I have attached a picture. Any advice would be appreciated

Mine stayed really low like yours and didn't go high until CD19, I guess I just ovulated much later than expected. I just kept going until things picked up a bit. I was scared I had somehow missed it but then it just jumped up. CD18 morning it was very low, CD19 evening it was high and also CD20 morning.

Mine are always very low, then they jump up for just a day or 2. I test once a day until I think it's going to turn positive then do 2 or 3 for a couple of days x

The LH hormone tends to stay low until you're a couple of days away from ovulation. I ovulate between CD15-CD20 so I don't start doing ovulation tests until CD12, as before then they'll just be very low. As you get closer to your suspected ovulation day, do the tests twice a day as you can get a sudden surge and you don't want to miss it. On the other hand you can also get a gradual surge, where you have a peak that lasts 2 days.

You should do these tests with afternoon wee, and not drink too much beforehand so your wee isn’t watered down. I’m sure it says it in the instructions so have a read to be sure.
It’s the CB digital tests you do in the morning.
There’s a chance you have a rapid LH surge so you could have had a surge through the afternoon and evening, and it would be gone by morning.
I would test twice a day from now, going up to 3 times as it increases in case there’s still chance you’re due to ovulate.
