@Iloveoreos I'm so sorry to hear about your experience darling, just shows the battles people have to go through in their TTC journey, just know your not alone and you don't have to face anything on your own, we are here for you each step of the way! Are they thinking you don't ovulate then and considering medication cycles with your fertility referral? My friend has clomid and got pregnant on the 3rd cycle :)! Btw did your gp prescribe you metformin? I'm still in the "diagnosis" testing and unsure if it's insulin related or not to know if that's the route they will send me down.. sending hugs 🤗 xx

@kaylsd. No gp didnt prescribe metaformin. It was the fertility clinic i was reffered to at hospital. I have blood test for progesterone so then will know if i need clomid or not. Lets see. God willing all goes well.

@minthumbugs so excited for your static! Came perfectly on time with your flashies so that's great news. Mine is at its lowest so far 🤷🏼‍♀️
@iloveoreos that sounds really rubbish. Are they treating your thyroid now? That's what my friend was saying with the IVF clinic. It took the clinic complaining over and over for them to get her down to 2.5 it's just because 4 is 'normal' but not for TTC. As soon as she got down below 2.5 she fell pregnant naturally at 42 though she lost it unfortunately. When is it your progesterone test again? Let us know how you get on.
@kaylsd what is your body doing with all these peaks!? That's nuts! Hopefully the docs can help get everything under control and you can get your beautiful baby. Maybe even just your 2-3 day strategy will be the best thing because you'll always have some super sperm ready to meet your egg when she arrives fashionably late for the party! I'm sorry to hear your FIL so insensitive. We've not told anyone we're trying. We don't want the pressure of people asking how it's going all the time. It was nice to meet the new nephew and I went baby clothes shopping too and bought some bits and bobs for him. I think the older girls put DH off a bit 😂😂😂 they were VERY excited to see us and completely wild.

Ugh, I'm so frustrated, I wrote a long post a few days ago and have just realised it never actually posted!

@kaylsd I had just said never to apologise for needing time out from all of this madness, I think it's easy to get really caught up in it and it can be so stressful. I've read PCOS can cause multiple LH peaks in a month but that it doesn't necessarily correspond to ovulation. At least now you have an idea what is going on and you can move forward.

@Iloveoreos I'm so sorry the doctors have been rubbish. My only advice would be to change GPs if that is at all an option. I have an absolute gem who is referring me for tests despite it being quite early on in the game for us, but my previous GP was a bit of a monster with my MH issues. There are still a few good ones out there if you can find them.

I'm off for my 'day 21' bloods today, on day 17 as my cycles are short... still debating moving my scan from the 17th as this will most likely be the day of AF but I can't decide!

My gp was changed after i complained so that did do something 😅
My thyroid dosage was changed aswell but the new dose was way too much for me as per blood teats. Then it was slightly reduced. So lets see

@CycloGoose so what CD are you on now, what's happening with you? We haven't told anyone we're trying either, but an older family friend outright asked if we were going to try again after the MC. DP was taken aback but answered yes, so there are probably (definitely) some family who know! But they haven't actually mentioned it to either of us.

@Kitty0389 good luck! Hope you get some answers from your bloods. Do they have any info online or anything about it? Or maybe could give them a call and tell them you're a bit unsure and they might be able to help. X

Happy Friday everyone, think I ovulate today and my app still has me at peak fertility but I think we're done with this month. DP and I both finish late on Fridays and by that point we are knackered - he watches a film and I go straight to bed. 😂 So it's in the hands of the TTC fairies now, I hope they are nice to me!!! X

@CycloGoose Ares has kept pretty much to herself lately but she’s definitely “talking” to me a bit more recently 😂
Like about a half hour ago as we just woke up, she walks in a bit confused because we’d swapped sides, then after establishing which side I was on started howling. Turned out she’d just messed up her bed and wanted me to fix it and give her some fresh water. Ares now currently in the living room, snuggling up to the side of the couch till I wake up enough to take her for a walk x

@minthumbugs. I will hopefully get info from the bloods even though the nurse kept asking me what it was I needed doing and if I needed tested for this and that. You would have thought he would have known from the doctor's notes. So I told him I needed all the hormones done, so hopefully that will keep it covered! They're not doing thyroid though
I think I've decided to go for my scan, they say you can do it on your period, I just wasn't sure if it would give them less information or if it would be really painful. I think it will give me some information at least, even if it is just how my endometriosis is doing and if everything looks vaguely normal down there. Sorry about the cramps on the wrong side .

@minthumbugs omg the number of family members who have asked us "when will you give us the good news" i swear i feel like screaming at them!

Thanks for welcoming me in ☺️ Sadly AF came this morning. So gutted. I had a good cry and then pulled it together for work. I'm hoping no one notices my puffy little eyes today! Don't you just feel hopeless when AF arrives? Like when the hell is this actually going to work?! I know it's only been 4 months which isn't long but it feels like forever. I'm turning 33 next week which is freeeeeaking me out! Ok, rant over. Onwards and upwards!

@Kitty0389 god they are rubbish at communicating with eachother. How come they're not checking thyroid? Hopefully your scan will be as helpful as @kaylsd's was!

@minthumbugs I think they've checked my thyroid so many times in the past because of my depression, and maybe they did it on day 1-5, I'm not sure. I have a follow up with GP on the 19th so hopefully that will get me some extra info.

Bit worried as I have started cramping today, CD17, 7 DPO and really hoping I'm not in for a stupidly short cycle which would mean this month is a definite write off

@Iloveoreos Sounds like your new GP is better. Let's hope steady thyroid means bouncing baby on the way. We can but hope! I'd be wanted to take a swipe at your family members!
@minthumbugs wasn't your LO conceived from your tubeless side? Could be a second miracle! I'm sure you're covered so enjoy your early night. I'm on CD14 and was just thinking maybe it will be annovulatory again when I looked up and saw a bumble bee on the grass so 🤞🤞✨ I normally would have had a peak by now.
At least our loss was never at the point when we told anyone but sounds like your family are being respectful and giving you space.
Sorry about AF @happycamper17 I'm 34 and TTC number 1. 8 months in now but still chugging along.
@kitty0389 I think it's good you'll still go for scan. Hopefully it will be really helpful. Let us know how you get on. Cramps could be implantation? I was very crampy when I got bfp.

@CycloGoose I started to get a bad feeling about my last pregnancy and wanted to keep it quiet for a while longer. But after we had a perfect 12 week scan so decided to tell our parents! Such is life, I was glad we didn't have to tell them alongside bad news.

Yeah, my LO was conceived from this side! There's around a 25% chance that the egg will be picked up so there's still a little bit of hope there for another miracle 🤞🏻

@CycloGoose Oh she is! It’s funny when people come up and tell her how gorgeous she is, she’ll wag her tail and look at them like “I know... tell me more!” 😂 x

@CycloGoose I don’t want to get too excited. Last month I had cramps around 8-9 DPO, dizziness, nausea, metallic taste, BFN at 12 DPO then AF turned up at 15DPO. Might have been a very early chemical or just that my body hates normal PMS hormones... who knows, I became paranoid, borderline suicidal on the progesterone coil so I wouldn’t put it past my body to have just had a wobble because it was the first ‘normal’ cycle I’ve had since coming off the pill 6months ago. I’ll keep you all updated.

That would be me @katieloola I could tell her for hours. My DH usually has to drag me away. The bigger and fluffier the better for me!
Oh @minthumbugs I'm so sorry. I don't know if I knew it was a second trimester loss. I don't know if I could be so strong. Xxxx Even if everything had been alright with us I wouldn't have wanted to say until our nephew was born but it might be different next time. I have everything crossed for your miracle xxx

Its a few aunts in the family. Everytime i speak to them they are just like so tell us anything new..any "good news" .
I just say "whenever its meant to be" and And a few have even said well you need to start thinking about it if you want the "meant to be" to happen ..
One of my cousins and her mum assumed i was preg literally a month after i got married 🤣

and i wish i could say something back but i dont or I cant.lol. in my head im thinking whats it with u.its not like ur going to be the one raising the kid!!! Nosy aunties and ppl.

I’m sorry your family is being rubbish. I’ve been mostly lucky, but those who have asked have gotten the truth. I’m undergoing fertility testing, so not to hold their breath for it happening any time soon. I’ve found it quite liberating, taken the pressure off and they’ve backed off. But it sounds like you might not feel comfortable with that way so just do whatever you need to do to keep your MH safe. Xx

Totally get it not wanting to tell people until after someone is due, feels a bit like stealing their thunder! I have a feeling DP's cousin and his partner are trying. They're really close but I feel as if if they do fall pregnant they won't tell us for a long time so as not to hurt us but I feel like that would be worse to find out so late. Even though this is just a hypothetical situation I'm upsetting myself about. Haha, I reaaalllyy need to take a chill pill. X

@Iloveoreos that's awful. You would think with how well known miscarriage/infertility stats are PLUS the stress of going through TTC even without that people would simply learn to keep their mouths firmly closed!

I will reply you all lovely ladies when I can! Just been swamped over at work all day today and I'm work over the weekend again 😩😩 sending lots of baby dust and hugs! Saw this and thought of each one of our TTC journey, although our lovely other half / inlaw family may make us feel like there's a clock ticking, or a real interest if we don't drink on one occasion or like my MIL personal period "I bet you haven't long since come off have you?" As a gentle nosey moment to see what's going off 😂 but we have got this! Whether it's next week, next month or even next year (god forbid but you never know) we have got this and we will have our BFP moment 🤞🏻🌈🤗👶❤️

I'm out :( first month ttc but I was so confident as dtd daily! And last months' bloods showed I ovulated at the exact time as the Flo app.

Well, here's to the next month :) It's a journey, and it's different for Everyone. The right time will come x
