@kaylsd I'm so glad you got some really useful information from the scan! It sounds like the sonographer was brilliant. I really hope that you can get your baby now that you have this information. It really does seem to make a lot of sense with your cycles being up and down. Have you tried inositol? I know lots of private fertility clinics recommend it for pcos xxx

@kaylsd that's great! I'm glad you got it done. So do you think when you thought you ovulated before was just slightly higher levels and now you're actually at your peak? Get at it just in case! Hopefully now your doctor can set you on the right path and it'll happen soon 🤞🏻❤️

@kaylsd hey hun.xx Glad u got it checked soon. Im guessing u will be put on metaformin too. Hopefully they sort out the blood tests etc soon

I had a mc a couple of weeks ago at nearly 12w (not planned) and can't think of anything else except from getting pregnant! I'm waiting for my cycle to properly start TTC but I'm afraid I'm getting obsessive with it.

I'm trying to take it easy until my period comes but already bought OTK and keep on reading everything about conception, pregnancy etc. have dreams related to it. it doesn't help that my best friend just had a baby and another friend annouced her pregnancy 2 days afetr my mc.

how do you keep calm and don't let it rule your life completely?

I could have wrote this. Sorry for your loss. I've just had a CP at 6 weeks and so desperate to be pregnant again. I'm hoping I don't continue to bleed for too long and that we can TTC this month.

@CycloGoose wow!!! Where from? What were your last ones again? Your sign was bees wasn't it? Mine was squirrel and I've regularly been seeing stuff about squirrels, including a family friend who posted on Facebook that a squirrel got in their kitchen window and into her handbag 😱

@ItsMeantToBe so sorry for your loss ❤️ hopefully your body gets back to normal soon. I had my second loss in January, it really is shit. Baby dust! X

@minthumbugs we have regular squirrels in our garden. I have been seeing loads of bumble bees recently too. My readings didn't seem to match up. I don't know what I'm thinking really. I was just looking on Etsy and went for it. I'll let you know if they seem any good! Can't believe your friend had a squirrel in her handbag! They're so naughty! I was 🐝, you were 🐿️, slinks was 🐖, lucea was 🐇 and SallyJo was 🦋. Can't remember if anyone else got one?

I've been lurking but struggling to keep up with a couple of threads! I've been keeping my eyes out for you guys though!! I'm 5+4 today and have my early scan on Friday 🤞🏼 I have been feeling sick as a dog since 2DPO and it's only getting worse 😂😂 I am SO grateful for this though and really hoping you all have your BFP's soon!xxxx

She's still reading but it went crazy on here for a while and we were both finding it difficult to keep up but also I think she doesn't want to harp on about it on here when we're all still trying ☺️ She's got a scan booked next Friday and I'm sure she'll update everyone after that! Hi @lucea87 🥰 Omg 5 weeks I feel like it's been ages! Oh god I know the feeling, had the dreaded sickness with all my pregnancies - being pregnant just doesn't agree with my body. But yet here I am 🤷‍♀️😂 glad you have a scan booked, hope it goes well! X

I don't think I could do it 🙈 my partner works long days starting early and I work til late in the evening so I think I would be stressed trying to keep up. I'm still hanging around waiting for ovulation. Ever since my ectopic I can feel it! I must sound like a crazy but if I'm paying attention and not busy at the time I swear I feel the egg release 😂😂 And I haven't felt anything yet so hopefully in the next few days 🤞🏻

Time is fully dragging!!! We told our parents this weekend as we wanted to do it face to face and not sure when we will see them next. It's early but we would welcome their support if things don't go to plan. It was special 🥰🥰

Doesn't sound odd @minthumbugs especially if you know what you are feeling out for! I think a lot of people get the ovulation pain. We kind of did it last time we conceived but didn't do the one for good luck at the end.
We don't DTD a lot normally so it's good I think to improve the sperm quality a bit before it's really needed! It's every other day so not too bad but I don't think we'll do 3 in a row at the end 🤣 I'm pretty keen to see two lines again and for them to hang around!

@minthumbugs oh my gosh I have also said that I swear I can tell the exact day of ovulation without even taking any hormone tests. My friends say it's in my head but I can definitely feel itglad I'm not the only one!

Thanks so much for sharing! It’s good to know kind of what happens. I have a scan booked for the 17th but not sure if I should move it as AF is due around that day. The pessimist in me is assuming no BFP before then and therefore it might be really uncomfortable during AF (I have endometriosis, so periods are quite painful), but I also don’t want to postpone it if it can give me any insight into my rubbish cycles...

@April98 definitely! It used to be really painful but thankfully now I have to be paying attention to I notice it (like TTC - uggghhh haha).

I'm still on flashing smiley today, really thought today would have been my O day so we've DTD the last 3 days in a row and now I'm exhausted and can't be bothered lol. I was really hopeful about this month and hoping there wouldn't be a next month! But not so much now, next month I think I'm going to just see what happens and not do any OPKs...

Did you at least manage to get your flashy on the first go today @minthumbugs ? Hopefully it'll be in the morning. You still have a really good chance lovely. Try not to put so much pressure on yourself if you can. I know it's easier said that done!

I'm on CD10 and I'm not sure how long it will be to ovulation. Femometer has decided I ovulated yesterday but I definitely didn't but we've been going every other day since CD7 so hope to keep that up. I know it's not proper SMEP but it's near enough.

Got my readings through and pretty much everything contradictory - I don't have anything matching up so it's a free for all!

Yes @CycloGoose it was a one stick wonder today 😂 hope it's later in the week now, could go not thinking about it for a few days. Sounds like you'll be in with a great shot doing SMEP, all bases are covered! What did your readings say? X

Both these two said boys @minthumbugs one said spring and one said September/October 😂 I've got pretty much all bases covered on the readings too!

Spoke to my GP today and they have finally listened to me! They are doing all the blood screening for everything to do with hormones including day 21 bloods, swabs incase infection (which I'm absolutely fine) & requesting my DH to go in for swimmers check which I'm so happy about as I feel like the ball is rolling! My only issue now is that I'm late and I haven't a clue when AF is and they don't want to give me anything to induce AF... any old wife tales to help me out ladies? One of my friends at work will be doing my bloods for me as I'm her mentor anyway #nurselifelol

I don't mean to be rude by being quiet with you all just my mind space has been abit up and down for Mumsnet but I had abit of a reality check with it all which was like fight or flight as the thought of it scared me when I reflected but then I've had the change of mindset that whatever comes now the investigation is rolling despite only being trying 7/8 month which I am grateful of as last time I was being chucked off for not being TTC for a year!

Hoping that can balance anything out for me to help and I'm tempted to stop the preg care as the gravy taste is just abit too much 😂😂😂

That's brilliant @kaylsd! It's a shame you had to pay for that scan to get them to believe you and start doing something about it. The one year rule is a bit naff, it's not helpful for all is it! Not sure what you could do about your AF, how long has it been now? I tend to have a few cycles a year that are about 50ish days long and no idea why!
