That's good you had people over @CycloGoose! We're doing some garden visits today and tomorrow but I also just got my flashing smiley for the first time 😁 how are you getting on with your ivy, do you like it?

I have a question ladies it might be silly... First time getting a flashing smiley this morning. For my app that still counts as a negative OPK doesn't it? It just means a positive is probably coming? I'm clueless 🤔

@CycloGoose so glad you managed to have abit of normality with having friends round I feel like it's been so long! One of my nursing colleagues came to my house on dinner break
and we sat in the garden it felt so nice to have abit of normal life again! I'm trying not to get my hopes up because I feel like I'm gonna be in for a long cycle rather than pregnancy I can't pin point as to why I feel this way but I do 🤔 my hubs is at work this weekend as it's my weekend off - typical life 😂🙈 hope you have a fabulous weekend sweetpea! What’s peanut btw I’ve never heard of it 🙈? X

@EllaRose123 welcome and good luck for your second attempt! How has your TTC journey been has it been a rocky process? Have you had obstacles across the way? We are here for you every bit of the process :)

I’m feeling abit meh this morning, I don’t feel like AF is anywhere or my BFP, I have my fertility scan tomorrow booked in at half 4 tomorrow (I mentioned it abit back to say I was looking into one n I ended up booking one) shall I go ahead with it as planned even though I’ve had no AF or my BFP to see if I can get insight or reschedule until AF? (My last long cycle if I’m going into another one was 75 days 😩😩😩)

@minthumbugs yes negative still but still exciting! It means your estrogen is spiking which happens just before your LH spikes. Yey!! Could flash a few days yet before you get your solid smiley but everyone is different. I hope you do conceive again soon. It was so nice having people round but now we have no plans for the rest of the weekend 🤦🏼‍♀️

I like the ivy. The first one didn't upload which was annoying but it's good and you get a graph with a value rather than a % which I like. I'm just a bit nervous that it's already quite high and Dr Google says that could signal early menopause but I'm trying to ignore that!

I'm unsure what this cycle will bring, whether it will be normal or not post MC but hopefully it will.

@ellarose123 hello! Welcome to the thread lovely. I'm sorry to hear the first IUI was unsuccessful and fingers crossed for the next. Have you had other testing leading up to drs recommending IUI?

@CycloGoose thank you! Ok that is exciitinggg last month I didn't get any flashing smileys, I'm hoping the static smiley comes on Monday when I'm expecting it. The ivy sounds good! That's the thing with tracking these things, you're focused on one thing and then you find another thing to worry about. Hopefully this month will be it for you. Xx

Ooh exciting that you booked the fertility scan. What does that include? Is it a trans us again? (I picked it up now). I would go unless any specific cycle day is needed. Hopefully it can give you some peace of mind either way. Did you track you bbt when you had your anovulatory cycle? What's the graph update this morning? The temps you are on now don't normally happen unless you ovulated so I still have everything crossed but I know your Covid cycle was really stressful for you. I think if you've had a trauma like that it's only natural to expect that to happen again you know? I know if I get s BFP again I'll be expecting the worst the whole time.
Gutted your hubs is working. Bloody typical! Hopefully you'll be able to catch up with some friends maybe.
Peanut is an app. It's only for ladies and it's a bit like Tinder but to make friends. It helps you connect with other local ladies at a similar 'life stage'. So I've said I'm TTC and it lets you connect with people very much like on tinder 🤣

@minthumbugs I'm still temping orally even though I'm doing my OvuSense as well. I've just kind of got into the habit of it 🤣 feel like I've wasted a fair bit of money on the OvuSense! Ooopsie. Last two days there's only been a 0.02 degree difference between my oral temping and my OvuSense. Maybe I should turn off my 6am alarm and stop double temping 🤦🏼‍♀️ Definitely sounds like your hormones are getting their shit together now which is super exciting! You could get flashy for a few days. FX it's Monday! Ivy was similar price to the clearblue and I found the flashing smiley faces really stressful so I decided to switch since I ran out of CB sticks anyway. It seems a bit more environmentally friendly that way!

@CycloGoose oh god really!!! At least you know it's accurate. Yes I find the smiley faces a bit aggressive hahaha... like are they threatening me?!

I've turned off the 6am alarm. You can't use OvuSense during bleeding/spotting which has been the majority of the time I've had it.

@minthumbugs this is the description of what's involved it's both abdominal and trans vaginal so it'll see both insights -

"We will perform a detailed scan to look at the size, shape and condition of the:

•	uterus
•	lining of the womb
•	both ovaries
•	pelvic area

Common examples for having this ultrasound scan are:

•	evaluating the wellbeing of the uterus and ovaries before conception
•	estimating the time of ovulation and measuring the endometrial thickness for assisted conception, measuring follicles and endometrial thickness prior to private IVF treatment in the UK

We will provide a Sonographer report at the time with a Medical Follow Up Recommendation if necessary."

One of my friends are going through a similar issue, being trying for 7 month, being on the pill for some time, usually normal cycles but not had AF now for 10 week but bloods normal and BFN so she's tempted to book the same scan to see if anything sinister as the GP won't touch her until 12 month trying x

@CycloGoose thank you lovely lady I think if it wasn't for you guys being on the same journey I would be going crazy if I was facing all this on my own! I was tracking my BBT when I was on my anovulatory cycle and it was looking perfect for a BFP but just remained elevated for days on days until AF came which I find the strangest thing! So I can't even compare on that basis, my temperature has slightly dipped to 36.5 but it's still higher than my pre ov at 35.9, I have tons of CM a which is TMI to point I'm using pads as it seems a lot each time I'm wiping, it doesn't specify a cycle date on the terms and conditions so I think I'm going to go ahead with it as planned :) be actually interested to see as it'll give me insight if there's anything there or if I've ovulated as they can tell apparently? I'll attach today's latest for a little update :) hope you have a lovely weekend, love the thought of that app I'm partial to a chat as you guys may already know ;)

I binged Normal People recently @kaylsd on iPlayer but I think I was quite late to the party with that. If you haven't seen it, it's great.

Oh that's so odd that you had the high temps on both. It's a shame they're not doing a blood test as well as a scan. I think it will be too early to see a sac or anything to be honest but exciting that they can tell if you've ovulated and they'll be able to see if your lining is thickened. They might be able to see if your cervix is closed as well which might help. Do you check your cervix position?
Have you got a screen shot of the old cycle? My long cycle was 9 weeks but that was straight after coming off the pill and I did ovulate according to OPKs.
Did you have the cm last time? I also had a lot with my bfp and I saw a lot of posts saying they had a bit of yellow and then BFP.
My last cycle was only 16 days and I didn't ovulate but I don't know if that was a cycle or if it was part of the MC.

@CycloGoose thanks for the recommendation chick I'll have to give it a go! Last night I found myself watching chick flick films i watched that time travellers wife I've not watched it in years :') I've not got the BBT data from my old cycle as it was on premom and it didn't sync to save to my health on my phone which I'm gutted about I remember it being the same I've just redone loaded it to check as I've only recently deleted as it was doing my head in with the different dates compared to Femometer, I've only been using Femometer for the last 2 cycles 😩 today I've increase BBT to 36.8, no AF, I have CM ahead it since start of post ovulation which has varied between white look CM or slight yellow tinge! I track my cervix position and it's been high closed and soft for about a week just don't have a clue what's going off right now! I'm looking forward to today's scan though it couldn't have fallen at better timing in fairness because they'll be able to check everything to see if it's in working order & check if I actually ovulated it's at half 4 so I'll share the update tonight as they send the report and scans to my phone 😆 my Femometer Has stopped congratulating me now hahaha :')

Last month I got my positive OPK on CD19 but yesterday was CD19 and only flashing smiley! Haven't tested today yet. DTD last night but DP had a few beers too many so couldn't finish the job 🤦‍♀️😂 DTD this morning and will try catch tomorrow as well so hopefully that's enough 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Well something weird is happening here this morning. I've wasted THREE clear blue OPKs - not happy 😭 they were just coming up with all the symbols like an error message?! And the sticks were all messed up. This happened once before but every other time it was fine, does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

I tried a cheapie after all the drama and it was very negative 😭 but CB still giving me a flashing smiley! I take it back I'm no longer chilled this cycle 😂

@minthumbugs that's really odd. I've not had that before with it. Is it clicking properly into place? And you're holding it vertically in the pee and then laying it flat? I'm sure you've just got a duff batch. I'd be complaining.

Check with the cheapy again later tonight? If you DTD today you don't HAVE to do it tomorrow. Try to see how you feel lovely. 4 days of flashy smiley is grand. Hell I got was it 9 and then still got a BFP so there's such a huge range of normal.
I recommend chocolate for breakfast.

@CycloGoose yeah i thought i was following the instructions! The first I thought oh maybe I kept it in too long so did it shorter then that didn't work either so did it longer 😂 got it on the 4th try, might just use cheapies going forward once they run out. We have so many cakes/scones/chocolate in the house from our Easter visits yesterday so it's a day of snacking I think 🥞🥧🍰🧁🍫🍩

Well I'm 11dpo and did another FRER this morning and not even a glimmer of a line. 😞 I'm sure that by now some sort of a line would of appeared if I was pregnant, so I think I'm out this month. AF due in 3 days so I'm not going to test any more until its late to save my sanity. 🙈

I've had my scan and I am so so grateful I went and had it done, I know I had to pay for it but now I've got some insight it means I can take the next chapter in my TTC journey! I was greeted by this lovely sonographer lady who was so reassuring and actually apologetic at the thought that I've had to pay for scans for irregular cycle insight as she believes it something GP should have referred me to but I think after today it's going to push for more! So I had both a pelvic & transvaginal scan, I'm not pregnant guys (which is the rubbish part but I'm not upset about as it's one of those things) my uterus lining is nice and thick and healthy in appearance, my uterus itself is healthy in appearances, I've got no free fluid or anything like that, now to my little eggs in my ovaries.. I have the appearance of PCOS which makes ALOT of sense to me now, they are only ever slightly enlarged at 10.2cm & 11.2cm but it's probable this is my barrier to my TTC care journey and if it wasn't for today, I would have been waiting until august for 12 month & most likely another 2 month wait for a scan check, which this has now pushed forward as they have referred me back to my GP for hormonal bloods to confirm the diagnosis based on my scan & she said my scan looks like mid cycle just about to ovulate so I might baby dance checking OPK once again as my high LH levels can be linked towards PCOS as for my temps haven't a clue why they are elevated 😂🙈 but I do believe my body gears up to ovulate but something stops it and this just could be why! looking forward to ringing up doctors on Tuesday and starting the process for my next chapter :) positive mindset always ✨🤞🏻🌈
