Ovulation sticks. Confused

Hey all,

I was just wondering has this ever happened to anyone? I’ve had positive stick on Thursday and ovulated cause I felt my egg poped haha, then it was negative by Friday then back to positive on monday then back to negative on Tuesday?

I don’t get it, has this happened to anyone before? And if so, what was it?

Hey, when you say positive are the lines as dark or darker than the control line? The only reliable way to confirm ovulation really is to chart your BBT and look for the temp spike - may be worth trying that for your next cycle. I found it tricky studying the darkness of the lines on the cheaper tests so used CB ones this month and I much preferred the simplicity of just having a smiley face instead of squinting at lines. Well, on Thursday I felt my egg pop ordered some sticks as wasn’t tracking my cycle this month so took the ovulation test on Friday then and first pic was how it looked, then next pic is from sat and last pic is from Monday then, soo confusing haha

It's hard to say - those tests don't seem the best and the control line on the 3rd looks very light. Maybe try CB next cycle which will give you a clearer answer.

@Hopefulhedgehog thank you :)! I might give it a go, I tried them last cycle and had 3 days of solid smileys( I know we’re not meant to test after one positive) and gave up in the end. I suffered a miscarriage and that pretty much messed up my whole cycle! Still awaiting my period at the moment, last time was on the 16/2

Well I had a miscarriage back in December then my first period was on the 14/1 next one 16/2 and this one is taking the peeeeee :/

I thought I would update this thread as I know I sometimes look for answers, turns out I am pregnant 4+ weeks I believe 🥰
