Can somebody tell me if when your levels drop after your LH surge that that means you have ovulated? Or is the ovulation still 12-48 hours from the surge?

I think I might have got my ovulation day wrong this month. I thought I ovulated on day 14 but actually think it might have been day 15?? (I know you can only confirm confirm through temping)

Your LH levels start dropping before ovulation. For example I get a peak OPK and continue to test throughout the day and the next day (the day I'm ovulating) and the OPK will very quickly fade so by the time I actually ovulate it's barely there.

That depends, you didn't clarify if you got your peak OPK on CD14 (morning? Evening?), you only said you think you ovulated on CD14 which to me would mean you likely had your peak OPK on CD13.
