Ovulation strip help!

I've attached a photo of two different ovulation sticks - after being unsuccessful for a couple of months I've decided to start testing every day just in case. My period started yesterday. The green one is an Amazon strip and the blue one is a Wilko strip. Both in the same sample for the same amount of time and very different. Any advice please? 😕

Hi there! If your period started yesterday you couldn't be ovulating yet. You can get lots of variation of LH during your cycle, but in terms of monitoring it for your peak, you're better to start testing after your period has finished

Thanks for your reply. I did that last month and seemed to get no peak at all, read up on it and a few articles said it's highly unlikely but not impossible that you could ovulate at the very end of your period so to test every day 😕 so confusing! Wasn't this hard when I was TTC in my early twenties 😭

@ttcforsecondtime how long are your cycles?

Juno231 · 16/03/2021 17:34

How long are your cycles OP? If you were to ovulate nowish you'd have to have a cycle of under 20 days which I doubt you do?

Do you have any symptoms of PCOS? PCOS often causes LH spikes not related to ovulation, which is why OPK tracking usually isn't recommended.
