How long does it take between releasing and egg to getting an implantation bleed?

Does anyone know this.

Am paranoid that may be pg.

Had unprotected and then noticed that had probably ovulated about 2-3 days later.

I have just had light bleeding 3 days before my af is due (which is unheard of).

When I got pg second time around I only realised because I had a ridiculously light af (by my standards).

Wondering if the same thing is going to happen again or if it is v ulikely that I will be pregnant anyway.

I am not due on until Sat so wouldn't bother taking a test until at least Wed next week.

Just wonder if anyone wants to fuel my paranoia?

Sounds like you could be.

Does anyone else know the answer?

Bleeding a few days before period is due could well be implantation. No one can tell you the answer until you test.

Why don't you do a test the day your period is due? I wouldn't wait till next Wed.

(BTW I hate to say it but I don't think it is 'very unlikely' that you are pg if you had unprotected sex just before you ovulated)

Thought so.

I wasn't that worried when we had unprotected as Af had only finished a few days ago and then suddenly I could tell I had ovulated about 2-3 days later.

We had problems conceiving first and the second was planned but not that month iyswim - so it could be that I ovulate early in my cycle and that's why it took so long first time around.

Sounds like it. I think this happens with me too - usually ovulate about day 9 or 10 of my cycle.

I think implantation is normally 1-2 weeks following conception, and that's when you'd get a bleed if you're going to. It was 11 days for me with DS.

We are off to Center parcs next week.

I was looking forward to having a glass of wine at lunchtime.

It would be just my luck!
